Mr. Loco Posted June 27, 2022 Posted June 27, 2022 Any chance for him to come to Mexico? The ticket for My Chemical Romance & Dua Lipa sold out fast and I didn't get any, so at least I would like to see Ed
ALittleGauche Posted June 27, 2022 Posted June 27, 2022 Male artists like Ed can just tour and make money endlessly because all they have to do is sit there and play the guitar and sing. It’s still an impressive set of skills, but female pop artists have to do choreo and big productions which can be tiring and not sustainable long-term. The misogyny of it all.
BnPac Posted June 27, 2022 Posted June 27, 2022 The fact that there's a possibility for him to do 1.7B just from two tours.

Female pop stars don’t have to do all that. Whitney and Tina sure didn’t and slayed box offices. Most choose to because that big vision. they are doing the same thing working the crowd except one doesn’t have lipsynch to pre-recorded tracks and a lazy two step to entertain it takes stamina and endurance to perform on stage and play instruments like that for hours and no one is doing tours like Ed cause they do want to be on the road as long and do as many shows cause it takes a toll. That and he is success driven to an almost unhealthy degree

Ed doesn't sit there and play guitar at his concerts, there is no stool or chair on stage, and he actually gets to move and jump around most a lot of the time, even when operating his loop station, plus the instrumentals, his main & backing vocals are live, not pre-recorded backing tracks. Touring the world is still tiring with 2 hour shows, flying and different time zones, plus still writing and recording songs for himself and other artists, along other activities required while touring, plus spending time with his daughters whenever he can
Dingdong123 Posted June 27, 2022 Posted June 27, 2022 I am gagging at the title of the tour Probably there’s a free calculator for all the attendees lol

TaylenaStan Posted June 27, 2022 Posted June 27, 2022 This tour is smashing so ******* hard Already grossing over 100M and it barely started tbh This will for sure be the biggest tour ever
Rose Posted July 2, 2022 Posted July 2, 2022 I watched a youtube video and that stage design looks very ugly to me.
Fly786 Posted September 26, 2022 Posted September 26, 2022 The 2nd Wellington show which was announced in June has been canceled. https://news.pollstar.com/2022/09/20/australasia-news-suncorp-stadium-shows-new-homes-for-laneway-falls-fests-ed-sheeran-cancels-nz-show/ That is surprising considering his dominance over New Zealand with the Divide Tour.
inmymendes Posted October 2, 2022 Posted October 2, 2022 North America tour dates will be announced tomorrow. New album coming soon -
HBK-79 Posted November 4, 2022 Posted November 4, 2022 Is it really a good idea for him to extend his tour after next year? Someone said that he's low-key underperforming, because his nightly gross for a 360° show is similar to that for a regular end-stage show.
Fly786 Posted March 28, 2023 Posted March 28, 2023 Ed is kicking off the North American Leg of his Mathematics Tour in just over one month, and it could use a sales boost. 15,539 seated tickets remain in Atlanta* (not counting the General Admission Floor). Other cities have similar numbers available. Big Ed fan here, and someone who is looking forward to the stripped back "-" album. Yet I am not convinced an acoustic album can move that many tickets (hoping I am wrong). *Randomly picked Atlanta to count for the purpose of this thread
Sharamee6 Posted March 28, 2023 Posted March 28, 2023 Ed's going to be fine. You didn't have to post this charity thread to make a point.
JohnWayneHolland Posted March 28, 2023 Posted March 28, 2023 Looking at some of his dates on Ticketmaster and damn who told him he could do a 360° tour on Stadiums and sell them out?

ATRL Moderator Azulito Posted March 28, 2023 ATRL Moderator Posted March 28, 2023 Now why is he doing a 360 tour? Nosebleeds are $49 and GA is just $125 so this will probably sell out but he definitely overestimated his demand

family.guy123 Posted March 28, 2023 Posted March 28, 2023 Does this man not have the highest grossing tour of all time? Why are people in this thread behaving so weirdly
