All jokes aside, I'm glad we all seem to agree that Shum was a highlight of last year and deserved way more than the Swiss snoozefest.

Top 3 Ukrainian entries ever along with Wild Dances and Dancing Lasha Tumbai. :gaygacat4:

Not some of Ukraines "supporters" here saying they want to send a message of support cause of the war... Girl, that aint gonna do anything or u think they will feel better or Russia will stop of Ukraine wins the contest? Please, grow up... That mentality... I cant

Montenegro has Serbia and Macedonia votes. A lot depends on the jury. If she gets some mid scores she has a chance to qualify i hope.

We should all just accept that this year’s competition is decided already, move on

There’s always the next years with hopefully no wars that can sway the public :michael:

Let them have their moment sis

Cyprus is gonna make it, Montenegro no chance

Tbh I wish they would let the artists draw numbers from 1-25 and not doing that 1st half/2nd half draw. I'd rather have ballad after ballad or bop after bop instead of having the producers decide the final running order.

Manifesting Ireland to qualify :heart2:

they are winning wbk

whoever is 2nd place should host the contest next year since Ukraine might not be able if the war is still going on (and lowkey also cause the 2nd place would’ve won if it wasn’t for this huge war)

congrats Ukraine

Ya’ll definitely need this win as a message from Europe that we stand behind you in this! This goes beyond a competition at this point. :cm:

They certainly dont need a Eurovision win for this.. like no.

Its not, its honestly the truth. U dont need Eurovision aka the gayest competition ever as affirmation in a country that mostly is homophobic

Do we have iTunes updates? iTunes not mean a lot nowadays but they are an indication of the GP voting

I think The Netherlands is doing very good.

Exactly, thanks for understanding!

War is sad and I hope most of us are against it and against what is happening to Ukraine... But thinking that making them win is a nice way or showing supports... Its beyond absurd

What does sexuality or the demographic that watches the show has to do with the fact that there’s an ongoing war?

It is one of the biggest televised platforms in Europe. Sure, it’s just a “gay song contest”, but it gets so much coverage in the media across all the countries.

Winning the show would give a huge platform to the artists to spread the message as well lol

I’ve decided that there’s no point arguing anymore with a bunch of forum gays who are so engrossed in a song contest that their judgement gets clouded by the competition. If they want to be insensitive because Ukraine will probably beat their faves, let them live with that on their conscious :heart2:

Who do ya'll think is coming 2nd place? (aka the country who would've won if there wasn't an ongoing war)  :fan:

I think it's between Sweden and the UK since all the ballads made it through in SF1 :coffee2:

Spain will standout on saturday in the sea of ballads in the 1st half but it might not be enough for 2nd place :chick1:

I also lowkey don't want her at 2nd place cause that will break my heart and it will be giving Eleni getting robbed in 2018 2.0 :monkey:

What message is there to spread? That war is bad? Wow, color me shocked..

People are such sheep and the fact that so many believe its a reasonable thing for them.to win to set a sign is beyond stupid.

Its the same country that prevented their own selected artist not to compete because she didn't fulfill some sort of Agenda DESPITE being voted by the public. This happened twice already (Maruv says hi). If u want to show support, donate where donations are needed and where change will result. This stupid song winning wont change a damn thing. You know, I know it, everybody knows it. Their win nullifies all the hard other acts put into it and that upsets me

That being said, im well aware its most likely gonna win, so there goes my essay in advance
