They both had a lot of hype among the eurofans and were seen as qualifiers but failed. Watching Ronela's performance again i am NOT surprised that she didn't qualify but still... she deserved it more than some that managed to qualify. Just like Albina did last year. This was to avoid any complications should the air raid sirens had gone off during the broadcast of the semi-final. Crazy to imagine 5 years ago, he was one of the hosts of the contest in Kyiv. It made me so sad when I saw this yesterday, but also really proud of the continued resilience of every Ukrainian. A Ukrainian victory would really mean so much!
