Random_ Posted May 10, 2022 Share Posted May 10, 2022 I'm really just surprised that Switzerland got through because that song only I sooo tired. But I guess the jury must've liked his voice (I heard he was excellent yesterday). Albania, the energy just wasn't there for the vocalist. The song is good and the vocals and the dancers were on point but everything else from camera angles, to her moves were just off. She's not a dancer and they should've had that into consideration 'cause they would've been better ways to go around it. Austria.... I mean, her vocals were wayyy off. Maybe it was the nerves, maybe the back track was way too loud but yeah, it didn't make justice to the studio version. Latvia was a wild card, it was a risk and even more so because we have 2 other goofy songs in this semi (Moldova- which always qualifies and has all the backing in voting from the balkan and eastern Europe countries; Norway- which was the more similar one and I guess more appealing across all ages). We already got snoozefest from Greece, Iceland and Armenia, was Portugal really needed?? That spot could've went to Austria or Albania. The Netherlands and another boring ballad coming in too.
