Different situations. 2017 the stage was so big, many acts just looks awkward or just plain terrible. Portugal used the  island stage in the audience and created a one of the visually impactful stagings of the season. Italy looks to have a good stage this year so there won't be the numerous acts that don't look great like 2017. Just being the best ballad of a year that is overloaded with ballads ain't gonna do it for the Netherlands.

I agree except I think France and Sweden won’t win. Netherlands is a contender, as is Ukraine, or Greece  

 

Italy is not going to do as well as the girls here think it is, UK, France, and Spain will all outpeak x

I doubt it. We're definitely sitting through half an hour of 12 jury points going to Ukraine followed by some corny sentence like "We're with you" or "Peace always wins"
