How do I come off as a Trumpanzee when, first of all, I'm loyal to no country or political party? what an actual insane statement especially coming from someone who comes on here to defend the CCP like that one Brazilian member who defends Israel at all costs. The people of Taiwan do not want CCP influence or takeover. So American tax payer dollars should be used to protect Taiwan like how they should be used to protect Ukraine. But I'm under the impression you love Putin just as much as you love Xi?

Who is denying them this right? Are you suggesting Americans' rights have to be sacrificed and given to others? What does Taiwan or China have to do with America, who is neither?

 

The idea that Americans shouldn't have agency over their country feels absurd. First you want their tax dollars. Then what? Their bodies? You'll argue next for conscription to be brought back because you somehow think the world is entitled to America to be involved in its affairs?

Enough of THESE mind games. The vast majority of the world practices isolationism. Most of the world minds its business. Very few countries are perpetually involved in foreign affairs and trying to shape the world in its image.

Are you from America? If not, why is your time being invested in convincing a country you don't even live in to fight a battle you deem important? What country are you from? Why not petition them to take up your causes instead?

 

America has the largest prison population in the world. It has 50k people who die every year from not being able to afford healthcare. Are you cheerleading the American regime's constant human rights violations by recognizing you have neither the power nor the place to demand change from a country you have no voice in? American leftists criticize Israel because it is literally built on American tax dollars. Which is why you don't see leftists demanding America topple and wipe out Israel. We simply want our money to stop funding it and will let it and it's neighbors decide how to proceed.  

 

Is your country trading with America? Are they supporting US military bases? If so, please realize how out of depth you are in trying to guilt trip and gaslight people in demanding they hand over billions of dollars for whatever political movement you want the US to jettison into political success. No one is under the illusion any place of the world is perfect. We just realize it is not up to America to "fix" all these places.

Why is Jimmy Dore still attacking Nina Turner? She’s not even in Congress?  What is the point? It’s just so weird to constantly accuse her of being too subservient to the Democratic Party when the reality is her refusal to bend the knee has probably been her biggest obstacle to winning a primary.

 

I just want to know what the end goal is for Jimmy and all the “Fraud Squad” leftists. I’m not against third parties obviously. But it seems like Jimmy and the like spend a lot more time attacking the most leftist (albeit not perfect) politicians we have rather than building an apparatus for the People’s Party. Seriously are they running any candidates anywhere? The fact that they aren’t offering a real alternative makes it seem like their only objective is to make people so demoralized by the two party system that they just give up on politics or stay politically active simply to joint rage masturbate with right wingers over AOC.  Also, I understand that on the left we take Republicans being bad for granted so it’s often not even worth mentioning, but let’s get real, Jimmy constantly plays defense for Trump and fascists and then deflects to Democrats’ wrongdoings.

 

Jimmy alone has been such a cancer to the left. I can be cynical too, but we can’t be doomers. We need to take victories where we can get them and keep pushing forward. We’re in it for the long haul.

Personally, my benchmark for listening to anyone who is at minimum left-leaning is to see what they solutions offer. With people like Dore they literally have nothing. Like you said vote third party. Why would I vote nationally for a third party when I could just not vote, and be left with the same input. That would be the logically conclusion, no. To not engage like the majority of people do. We talk about profit motives corrupting MSM, but it might be worse for online political shows. They are directly seeing what their engagement is on specific topics. Even shows like The Majority Report kowtow to centrists, and have an audience that is visibly against socialists.

For starters, I would think if we could trust that if a ban on transgendered people participating in competitive/contact sports was as far as it would go, it would go , that it would maybe be something we’d just have to accept because the currents of public opinion are extremely against us and progressively getting worse. Thing is, we all know that’s not where it’s going to stop. Conservatives are making that very clear with their intent to ban drag queens and their history of wanting to block trans people from using public restrooms that they’ll probably bring back as a talking point the moment they get their way.

 

The other elephant in the room here, of course, is Kim’s outright rejection of trans women being women. While also taking outrage at being called a TERF and threatening legal action against those who do so.

 

for her second tweet, I guess my confusion is whether she’s accusing trans activists of being too loud, or if she’s referring to the right-wing culture warriors fearmongering over them. She doesn’t seem to have too many criticisms of the far right, so my guess is the former but I’m just not sure.

Kim is such a loser.  If this issue is being "focused on too much" why is she boosting that niche topic?

 

I'm sorry, but the sheer stupidity of trying to make a point of trans athletes in a story that includes children. Yes, the high level of skill, and integrity of middle school and high school rugby. EVEN COLLEGE ATHLETES AREN'T POISED TO BE MAJOR LEAGUE STARS. We have already seen the bans on adults affect cis Black women, because shockingly hormones levels range highly between women. I think anyone making those arguments really need to be confronted with the fact that they are quite literally peddling a rule that will in practice have a systematically racist outcome. All to affect such a small population of people who are not disproportionately represented in sports. This is just a branding exercise for her either way.

This was a really good video and it's shocking to see that the level of social trust in the US has been going down at such a significant rate. No wonder it's such a divided country.
