RihannaLoverrr Posted July 7, 2022 Posted July 7, 2022 Now we just await the next terrible Tory leader to continue the hellish downward spiral while England continue to vote for them
fridayteenage Posted July 7, 2022 Posted July 7, 2022 i wonder if that one uk hit song will fly back up their chart now... the last 2 pm reigns have felt rather...short. but i don't pay close attention to uk politics so.

wildsidenormani Posted July 7, 2022 Posted July 7, 2022 Nothing worth celebrating I fear:( Rishi will become PM after the leadership content and then we’ll have a billionaire running the country who is on the side of other billionaires and not average working people. The best we can hope for is a Labour/SNP coalition (seeing as Labour won’t get a majority) in the next election which unfortunately isn’t coming until January 2025 unless the Tories have the balls to call a snap election. The UK really is one of the worst places to be in the western world right now What a dreadful 12 years it’s been with the Tories in power

It will both ironic and iconic for a man of Indian heritage to lead the country as a Conservative leader. If Liz Truss is leader we're going to war with Russia Liz Truss needs to win the leadership battle.

Boris himself was intending to stay for years to come and this resignation proves that public pressure can work. If the next leader is just as bad, or worse like many people seem to be oddly expecting, then this has set a precedent that even the most narcissistic person can still be pushed out when the flames get hot enough. It’s a really good demonstration that no matter how powerful they might be, ultimately they can and will be held accountable. Yes it’s taken a lot to get here, but the point is that we did get here. Of course the next leader isn’t going to be good either because there are no good tories, but they carry this burden which is a positive regardless.

Antonini Posted July 7, 2022 Posted July 7, 2022 Tresemme must be laughing her ass off somewhere! And her farewell speech actually made me feel bad for her unlike Mr. "Them's the breaks" Now how are yall gonna trigger a general election? Labour needs a vote of no confidence put forward? I know the UK girlies better back Angela Rayner as the Labour Leader if that happens! Let the Gobby northerner lead!

I reckon conservative voters will just consider Boris a blip and view his replacement as an improvement regardless of how good they actually are.
