I just read all the rotten tomatoes negative critic reviews and they are saying it’s fine or It’s too serious.😭 literally one review said they miss marvel humor💀 I swear they switch up every project.

I wish these daily Promo post on social media had more scenes. It feels like they are showing the same moments over and over in the marketing. I get it’s supposed to be a secretive show, but they could amp up the hype more🤦‍♀️

Another Marvel project where the critics were wrong

This actually feels like a TV show and explores the characters and MCU street level better than any Disney+ show yet. but it definitely is a slow burn.

The strongest part of the show so far is characters having actual moments to interact and socialize while doing thier mission. It’s pushing the grander Marvel Plots while still exploring Fury’s own issues. Also a lot of world building. From the first episode it really does feel like this is adressing the major complaints of MCU recently being too humorous and Epic storytelling. 
 

I will admit tho it has several slow moments that could have been edited out. Maybe if the sprinkle more Action scenes. The action is typical tv action so far. Seems that budget won’t be used until the later half of the season. 
 

overall I thought it was a way better experience then I was expecting after early reactions were calling it boring and low budget. I honestly like Maria hill, Talos and fury more here then in most of thier movie moments. 
 

She-hulk would have benefited if it had a lawyer episode like this. Just exploring human rights and truama due to the blip. I also love how espionage and spy movie like it was. It didn’t feel force or gimmicky. 
I think they just need to focus on the pace to better the engagement. It did feel a bit more adult leaning than most recent marvel content. I don’t know how that will play in the long run. Since most people want to see Avengers and hero’s on screen. But I think this is more in line with the Netflix marvel shows than Disney+ ones. The characters really are more interesting then the who’s a Skrull gimmick for me personally. I give it a 8/10 for a first episode.

There is a theory

That Gravik is Fury’s son. Fury mated with a Skrull after Captain Marvel movie. And another theory that Fury may be repsonible for the mothers death and that’s why Gravik is motivated to have a Skrull rebellion. Also Talos and Giah relaxationship could parelle this, and that’s why they are the main characters.

This is actually shaping up to be one of the better shows Marvel has done. The tone is very much CA:TWS and I’m here for it.

Episode 2 explores why Fury can’t call the Avengers to just simply solve this Secret Invasion! And if you pay close attention to episode 1 it’s shown👀

The Skrulls are shown in episode 1 to be able to mimic not only appearance but memories. The series furthers this new revelation by having Skrulls potentially mimic Supehero abilities as well! So it makes sense why Fury don’t call Thor or Carol down because a SuperSkrull can take thier ability! The stakes and threat level is raised high in upcoming episodes. Stay tune for just how massive this Event can be for the MCU moving foward.

Secret invasion is #1 stream show on Disney+ in 56 countries. We will have to wait 5 days until we find out where it debuts on Nielsen charts. But as of now it’s a hilight stream tv show within the first 2 days!

The MCU treatment of Maria Hill has been so horrible  for 11 years they've treated her like a throwaway character instead of the queen she is. 

 

I really enjoyed the episode other than that but it has left a really bad taste in my mouth
