I've been rooting for Asia since day one but I kind of feel like Grey won the finale. Asia is still a great winner with as strong an aesthetic as Grey, just a bit less refined.

 

Auntie was awful, her filth wasn't filthy, her horror wasn't horrific, her glamor was a bodysuit.

Grey made the other 2 look like amateurs. The amount of detail and polish was next level. He devoured every single tenant, plus the crowning look.

 

Auntie will never be anything other than an unimaginative and basic ookie spookie pageant girl. She's perfect for hosting Roscoe's viewing parties, but a monster, let alone a supermonster, she is not.

 

Asia is very likable and I'm glad she won. She kinda flopped the bloodshower at the end though.

Season 2 and Season 3 set the standard for future seasons. Either one of those two would be a good intro to the show. I love the Season 1 winner, but the production value is very amateurish. Season 2 and Season 3 also produced multiple returning contestants for Season 4 and Season 6. The lastest season felt like a return to form for the show. So, I'd probably recommend watching them in this order: 2, 3, 1, 6, 4, 5.

this delusional answer. season 3 is so cringe with the forced, desperately edited drama, that I had to stop watching halfway through  I finished the season just clicking through the floorshows. 

 

@Weld_E Dragula is on a cycle where every odd-numbered season is embarrassing garbage, and every even-numbered season is the zenith of reality tv. 

 

seasons 2, 4, and 6 have flavorful, stacked casts with well-distributed storyline development , diverse aesthetics , FUN CHEMISTRY (the most important part), and correct-but-not-boring elimination orders. 

 

S4 episode "Ghost Ship Glamour" alone pisses and shits all over S1, S3, and S5. The S4 reunion also stomps. Whew, S4 was that girl. 

 

I haven't suffered through season 1 , but season 3 and season 5 both give me intense secondhand embarrassment for how they coerced these adults, who never warmed up to each other, to awkwardly pretend on camera to either fight or support each other. Plus S5 has some crappy floorshows, like the neon colors one  (at least the S3 floorshows themselves are consistently good). 

 

it's tragique, because S3 had some decent talent (Evah, Yovska, Eve, Priscilla, etc.)  but the editing is just too painful.

The only delusion here is thinking that Evah brought anything to her season. The drama on S4 almost made that season unwatchable. Most of the fans hated seeing the cast gang up on one person. Things got so bad that production had to step in behind the scenes. "Fun chemistry" where. Zavaleta was the only good villain because she was an equal opportunity hater and she could actually back her sh*t up with real talent.

 

S3 had location challenges, iconic one liners, great mix of diverse drag styles, unintentionally hilarious crash outs, and one of the strongest winners in the franchise. That alone puts it above S4 for me. I love how everyone complains about Titans being a waste of time because the Boulets had already chosen their winner before filming even started, but you could say the same thing about the S4 winner. 

 

And I don't give a F*CK who doesn't get it!
