I woulda been so pissed if I was any contestant on this show other than grey matter, and I heard what the challenge prompt was 

 

next challenge might as well be "bearded with boobies"

also it's pissing me off how people online are dragging Pi's look. Pi looked like 1940s cartoon, with enough of a Pi flavor, such that the challenge theme was memorably interpreted through Pi's point of view 

 

Pi looked sleek and simple, and tasteful. Having white feathered hands on an all-black body was exquisite. 

 

plus Pi's title cards ("momma tells me it's just shadows / but shadows don't have teeth / and momma hears me screaming when it tickles my feet") cemented the concept of his look satisfyingly

Pi's little story was the best one by far. So creative.

 

I'm usually not a fan of masked looks bc it's a cop out. For all we know Pi could be completely bare faced underneath it and this is a drag competition so that's a huge no no. I think Grey put on his usual prosthetics but he was also stamped af.

 

I hate Auntie.

Not only was Pi wearing a mask while everyone else did makeup and prosthetics, but the entire thing looked cheap.

I think I'm episode or 2 behind, but I'm finding this season to be a bit of a snooze. The queens are generally quite boring compared to previous seasons, and while a lot of the looks have been top tier, the last 2 episodes I watched were performance episodes which both left a lot to be desired. 

 

Also why do they all sound like they're reading off a teleprompter in their confessionals, it literally sounds so scripted and corny at times.

Correct winners again this episode  but I do NOT see Yuri continuing to the final 4 like, at all.

 

And if my research is correct, next week is the Dead By Daylight challenge. My coins are ready to buy the Boulet skins for the Nurse and Plague(?). I think I read that the winner of the challenge gets their winning look as a skin too.

This challenge is my least favorite every season… the way it's just corny "acting" and the looks are always too costumey

 

The extermination was actually so cute, it was clear Jaharia had to go and she just accepted it while getting compliments from Asia  gonna miss her confessionals.

this elimination was tough for me, but i think i agree with their decision. the bottom two were pretty neck-and-neck in terms of track record, and the one they did exterminate did worse in this challenge.

Yeah it was so obvious that Yuri was taking it but Grey was miles better.

I appreciate that this episode shook up the trajectory of the season! Last episode was fully "let's get this over with because we all know what comes after this" with Jaharia's elimination, so it's smart that the Boulets avoided giving us two episodes like that back-to-back (would've swamped the momentum of the season otherwise). I clocked that Yuri was winning as soon as they showed Yuri fretting over her track record in the "previously on dragula recap", but it was satisfying nonetheless how much the judging results caught the contestants off guard.

 

It's juicy that all four of Yuri's peers said she deserved to go home this week, even given that she won (poor ***** ). Thank god Dragula gives every contestant dimensional, charismatic edits, so that these ******* feel comfortable being sincere instead of polite. Last episode, I had been surprised that they even kept Yuri saying that she probably wouldn't win [this] week's challenge in last week's cauldron, because a contestant being that frank about lacking a serious chance in the competition is the kind of observation that gets edited out of weaker reality tv shows (because it exposes how predictable those shows are).

 

This reminded me in a small, less gaggier way of when Abhora simultaneously won and was up for elimination in the season 2 bridal challenge. That's when I knew Dragula was made for ******* that watch reality tv
