Also I'm confused with the timeline, I though Adult Jack was gonna be there during Rebecca's death but he still a teen at this point. I swear there was a scene back in season 3 (?) where old Tobey is calling Adult Jack and telling him "It's time" I’m thinking Tobey calling Jack might’ve been in reference to something else in the future. Hopefully it’s cleared up in the finale. Edited May 23, 2022 by Arcadius

Okay, I went back to watch this moment (back in S04) and Tobey told Randall that he called Jack and he's coming with them (referring to Jack's sister and Philip). So the timeline checks out, I was just a little confused with Adult Jack future scenes
Harmonizer Posted May 24, 2022 Posted May 24, 2022 (edited) Ready for it to end. The last couple of episodes have been amazing, it kind of makes me forget how stale it's been, but I think it's the perfect time! I wonder if they will go the "It was all a dream" route for the ending Edited May 24, 2022 by Harmonizer
HabbGaga Posted May 25, 2022 Posted May 25, 2022 i loved the ending! it suited the show so perfectly. no other show has had this power over me to make me cry at any given moment. beautifully done the whole way through.
getBusy Posted May 25, 2022 Posted May 25, 2022 Honestly, ending the series on episode 17 would have been SO MUCH BETTER. Last night's episode was cute but felt unnecessary to me. The previous one would have been a PERFECT ending (maybe spending 30 seconds longer on the train). Anyway, extremely happy with the show overall and glad that it got the attention it deserved. What a run!
Arcadius Posted May 25, 2022 Posted May 25, 2022 Yeah Rebecca’s death episode would’ve been one of the best TV finales. I still loved the finale we got and I’m really going to miss this show.
McNulty Posted May 25, 2022 Posted May 25, 2022 It was a beautiful finale, really captured the show perfectly
Venom Posted May 26, 2022 Posted May 26, 2022 It was a cute ending but I wished they would’ve swapped the episodes. We could have gotten the big threes perspective first and then The Train for Rebecca’s perspective plus the last 4 minutes of the last episode.
Destiny Posted May 26, 2022 Posted May 26, 2022 Ahh I can’t believe I’ll never see another new episode of this magnificent show ever again. What a journey it has been watching this show all the way from the pilot to “Us”. I will miss it dearly. No show has touched my heart more than this one. It has made me evaluate my own life and my family’s life in a variety of ways. I will forever be grateful for its existence. Loved the finale, I think it was necessary after the heavy “The Train” episode. It really did feel like a gentle goodbye hug. Very very satisfying. I hope they win all the Emmys!
