katara Posted July 1, 2022 Posted July 1, 2022 This was kinda meh? Felt like a whole lot of nothing Also Will needs to come out already

Gorjesspazze9 Posted July 1, 2022 Posted July 1, 2022 Funny how Will & Mike were better actors as kids then now. Don’t know if it’s just the material they are given but Will’s acting in season 2 was amazing. Even Mike was great in season 1.

Noah is still the best actor in season 4. the **** you on about good god your opinion on the last 2 episodes is just as tasteless as this take lmao Finn is pretty bad I'll give you that. Noah is doing so much with very little compared to Millie and Sadie which were given so much this season. rightfully so though, they're the best actresses.

I don't think I've ever seen a show where it was this excessive. are we just going to introduce a likable character every season to kill them off at the end of every season? awful writing. GO THERE with your characters. fanservice. a reverse d&d-ian experience.

It all worked for me. i feel like i would've liked it more if it were will delivering that speech mike's acting was just awful in that scene
OreGuy Posted July 1, 2022 Posted July 1, 2022 (edited) i mean killing off a mainstay would be cool and would be really brave of them, but would it make sense especially with how things went down? if Jonathan was killed at the desert, it would be anticlimatic bc he wasnt really involved in that specific nina storyline, he couldve died during the house raid but there would be no "adult" with the teens long hair dude is useless, but well, not a main character Steve, if he was killed, then must also apply to Nancy and Robin bc they were all stranggled Dustin, wouldn't make sense at all, Eddie felt more correct and justified Lucas, I felt like it would be underserved bc he truly didn't do anything to justify a death Max, I can understand and would've agreed if she died but honestly her death would make that first encounter less impactful knowing she died anyway. Eóghan Posted July 1, 2022 Posted July 1, 2022 btw that Will / Jonathan scene is a highlight of the season ? wow lowkey cried

OreGuy Posted July 1, 2022 Posted July 1, 2022 but ngl they did great during ep 8 in making you feel that any of them will die, like there were parts were characters were given monologues and much richer portrait shots so it was really a toss up at that point

The fact you called Noah’s acting the best makes your opinion void. And I literally said this was a 10/10 volume. What are you talking about???
Zerocoke Posted July 1, 2022 Posted July 1, 2022 I haven’t watched it yet but it seems very divisive “WOW 10/10 OMG MASTERPIECE” vs. “AWFUL TERRIBLE UNDERWHELMING” like how
Gorjesspazze9 Posted July 1, 2022 Posted July 1, 2022 On a brighter note. The Cali crew was more interesting this volume. I liked the pizza setting, Argyle and Will a lot more this time around.
Uncatena Posted July 1, 2022 Posted July 1, 2022 yeah they really didn't get lucky with Finn... his acting is getting worse as he is getting older
k4rmabutterfly Posted July 1, 2022 Posted July 1, 2022 it was ok but I was expecting something big but it was just like the other season finales, villain destroyed, minor character dying, will feeling something good season tho, definitely going to watch the final one.
Almodusa Posted July 1, 2022 Posted July 1, 2022 Hmm okay that was cute. Not much happened. Spoiler Their plan didn’t work (Vecna obvs isn’t dead), so just Eddie died and Max is in a coma, and Hopper is back. Also kii at Jason dying like that
TheCheshireCat Posted July 1, 2022 Posted July 1, 2022 Noah is great when he's crying, probably why they had him cry every other scene he is in . However he had some lows this season and some of his lines seemed really stiff. Example, when El was in the tub and in trouble and Will randomly screamed like "Mike!... Do you remember my painting of us? You are the hEaRt !!!" I actually cackled.

KingJay Posted July 1, 2022 Posted July 1, 2022 mmmm, the whole last 2 episodes had me on edge. Idk if it was worth the month or so of waiting. They could have just released it all at the same time. What are they implying with Max?? Also the ending was a bit underwhelming not gonna lie. Other than that it was pretty great tbh
