Thinking Of You Posted June 1, 2022 Posted June 1, 2022 The Mike, Jonathan, and the new character storyline is so weird and boring. Why did they go to Utah again? I literally forgot. It was so out of place.
Thinking Of You Posted June 1, 2022 Posted June 1, 2022 Spoiler The way my jaw dropped when Nancy fell back into the Upside Down. Then I remembered she still had trauma with the Barb situation. I swore I thought Steve was about to get snatched back up going last

@michael Posted June 1, 2022 Posted June 1, 2022 I just got done watching the new episodes, and the last episode made it all worth the wait. I was glad to see everything get tied together and make a complete backstory so we could finally understand how it all got to this point. I will say though that the episodes really did kinda drag until the last two or three. In the way that Game of Thrones left out too many details and finished things up too quickly, Stranger Things has gone the opposite direction and given too many details and dragged things out. But I think I prefer too many details over too little to be honest. Can’t wait for the final two episodes!
Lachlan Posted June 2, 2022 Posted June 2, 2022 I cannot stop watching the ending of Dear Billy. It makes me tear up time. Truly a series highlight and one of the most emotional TV scenes I've seen.

They got me, yeah they got me. Throughout the season I was so confused as to where Will, Mike and Jonathan were. It's like I blocked out the moving part They were the most boring part of the season for me. Really didn't care about them and the fact they weren't shown in ep 7 says a lot. El's backstory... I kinda didn't care at all up until the final episode I'm not into El going from this bad ***** to a whiny kid. I lived for her ripping Angela's face apart, what a moment! But other than the bullying arch, I really didn't care for much else. Nancy, Steve, Dustin, Robin and Max carried the season for me. I loved watching them on screen so much. They had the most interesting story by far. Max in Dear Billy was everything. She is so, so great. I kinda want one of them to die cause I'm a sucker for sad endings. Poor daddy Hopper He really went through some **** in Russia. I though I'd hate the whole story of Joyce and Murray traveling to Russia for that many episodes, but I actually liked it? The plot twist of Yuri selling out both that guard and the Americans was gut wrenching. My jaw kinda dropped! Episode 7 was phenomenal. I had no idea whatsoever that Vecna was the guy in lab. At some point, I kinda hated the fact that Vecna was just some random demon killing off teenagers, but it all came together in the end. Can't wait for the final two episodes. Hope they're as long as episode 7 was Ep 8 will be about 1h 25min (10 episodes shorter than 7) Ep 9 will be 2h 30min
Venice B Posted June 2, 2022 Posted June 2, 2022 Just finished the episode and I had a lot of opinions but one thing that worries me is If Nancy or Steve die I swear I'm gonna riot. And I'm like 99% sure (didn't read spoilers, pure speculation) that he will die after saving her from Vecna's curse. And I'm not ready to watch Steve dying
Oktober Knight Posted June 2, 2022 Posted June 2, 2022 I finished ep 3. This season is sooo slow and boring so far.

Dustin believes that the Mind Flayer is above Vecna and the Demogorgons. But I feel like Vecna is more autonomous than we think and after defeating him there's still the main part of the Mind Flayer who rules the Upside Down.

It’s so beautiful, + that scene combined with this was just so fantastic it just makes me want to cry listening to it again It’s not the official, just a cover but it’s pretty close!! That part really hit home for me! It was so raw and beautiful ugh.
kweenofxanax Posted June 2, 2022 Posted June 2, 2022 Finally decided to watch the entire thing after having only seen Season 1 in 2016 and didn’t want to ruin such a great show that’s been close to my heart and I’m so happy I did. July 1 can’t come sooner.
Billionaire Posted June 2, 2022 Posted June 2, 2022 (edited) I have so many thoughts that I simply cannot write down atm Let me watch it again like...easily the best season since the first. Edited June 2, 2022 by Billionaire
Severus Snape Posted June 2, 2022 Posted June 2, 2022 Why do you think that they named episode 9 ''The Piggyback''? I think its could be some of these: - Someone gets extremely hurt and needs to get carried around piggyback style - To defeat Vecna and have him distracted while someone kills him, the group decides to attract the Vecna's curse by having vulnerable thoughts one at a time. This way Vecna stays busy as they attract him with depressive thoughts and therefore carrying his curse around like a piggyback all throughout the episode, meanwhile Steve, Robin and Nancy stab him through his back. - At the end of the episode it gets revealed that in fact Will has been carrying the Mind Flayer on his mind all the time since 1983
Katamari Posted June 2, 2022 Posted June 2, 2022 I’m done with season 2 and about to start season 3 the way this series went from ET meets alien to poltergeist x the exorcist
Iceland Posted June 2, 2022 Posted June 2, 2022 yeah the last episode saved the season, Because it was too long and boring. I blame the amount of characters and the time we had to wait for this season (I forgot about most of them). Hope Vecna go on a killing spree and get rid of half of the cast.

I still wonder what is this drawing he brings with him everywhere...

Yeah the fact that the upside down in stuck in 1983 when Will got snatched is weird. But the fact it's stuck in 1983, isn't it more related to when Eleven made contact with the Demogorgon and opened the first gate?

It's so far away, but I remember him being tortured in season 2 rather than the one who's torturing! But for season 5 I'm actually picturing Will being the villain. Possessed and evil. I don't know if Noah Schnapp has the range, though!

Yeah he was tortured by his mom because he was possessed and had a double personality that led them all into a trap by summoning an army of demondogs that killed Bob in the process.

The Closer Posted June 2, 2022 Posted June 2, 2022 Almost through my second full watch of S4 (don’t judge me, just had ACL surgery a couple weeks ago), and all of the little hidden clues they give throughout are right in plain sight. Great writing! Something has to be up with Will’s painting. They make sure to include it in multiple shots in a few episodes.
Aiya Posted June 2, 2022 Posted June 2, 2022 Spoiler Please if it’s about El dying they can keep it gimme something unexpected
Gorjesspazze9 Posted June 2, 2022 Posted June 2, 2022 (edited) The piggyback could be about Vecna trying to manipulate Will. Spoiler Also heard rumors of the duffer brothers incorporating a major power up for el. They are probably going full Jean Grey, since it’s the 80’s and X-Men were peak. So far the most impressive thing she moved with her mind was a car and closing the upside down gate in season 2. Edited June 2, 2022 by Gorjesspazze9
