Gorjesspazze9 Posted May 29, 2022 Posted May 29, 2022 As far as Deaths what if Spoiler Stranger things is giving us a 4 hour event because they plan on killing off every original kid. Dustin,Lucas,Mike, & Will. It would be controversial and risky. But what if they do it well? I wouldn’t want it, but it would raise the stakes and blow up the internet
illia Posted May 29, 2022 Posted May 29, 2022 I don't think the Will being evil plot-line will be rushed if S5 gets the same or even bigger runtime for episodes and budget it won't be an issue to reveal his true self (pun intended) the best way possible

The whole thing about Nancy not only suggests he's gonna die to save her, but that he also hasn't moved on and still has feelings for the same girl he had on season 1. Which kinda tells they'll have him killed off. Someone is 100% dying in episode 8/9, and everything suggests it's him unless the Brothers wanted us to believe he's up next only for someone else to die instead. Which is unlikely. However I dont understand the whole Nancy/Jonathan crisis and her showing sympathy for Steve in not a strictly friendly way? What's the purpose? He could have died for her regardless 28 minutes ago, Gorjesspazze9 said: Hide contents I think that’s exactly why. To parallel will and 001. But it is just a theory, we will find out in a month what route they will take. Either way, will definitely will play a major role in the finale Spoiler Yeah I think so too. Really curious about this one To be honest I had an idea about a potential spinoff about Steve, Robin and Dustin (and maybe Erica but then it would be basically be season 3 lol). I think it could potentially be great cause they really work together + they would have a new female character as love interest for Robin (so we would have the lgbt couple this show has been missing) + someone for Steve of course. Spoiler However I dont see Steve making it to season 5 yet alone having a spin off. Actually I raed he was supposed to die in season 1 but the writers changed their minds because he was a fan fave already back then, so having a spin off about him is even less likely lol
Starkboy Posted May 29, 2022 Posted May 29, 2022 I don't see the original trio (Mike, Dustin and Lucas) dying at all. Like, what's the purpose? Maybe Mike at the end in a situation related to Eleven, but even that seems very unlikely. As for the kids I stick with Will/Eleven if someone is actually dying, but only at the very end.
illia Posted May 29, 2022 Posted May 29, 2022 And I actually think Eddie is the one who's going to die In the trailer there's a shot of him playing the guitar on the roof in the Upside Down, I assume he's playing Nancy's favorite song to get her out what if he sacrifices himself for Nancy? like, he's a good-looking kind-hearted funny dude, TikTok is full of videos about him already, Twitter loves him, he became loved by everyone very quickly so if he dies it's still going to have an impact and make everyone sad, especially knowing he died to save someone else
illia Posted May 29, 2022 Posted May 29, 2022 I'm really glad the episodes and the whole plot didn't get leaked like it was with Euphoria so now we can all have different theories and assumptions without knowing everything beforehand lol

And as you said Eddie falls perfectly in the category for the heartbreaking death Moreover Eddie and Steve kinda play the same character? The kind-hearted guy who is friends with Dustin/the kids. I think one of them has to go. So either Eddie is replacing Steve's role for season 5 or yeah he could be dying and be the big death of the season
zaso Posted May 29, 2022 Posted May 29, 2022 56 minutes ago, Aiya said: Hide contents It’s not only about Mike. Upside Down being frozen in time when he vanished is sus. Mike could also be a trigger for him, cause Mike is gonna make up with 11 . he has a big monologue for 11 in vol 2 so if he hears it anything could happen later oh didn't know about the monologue hopefully there's something big planned for him in the last 2 eps. i wouldn't mind a villain arc for him cuz will's actor is pretty good and capable of pulling that off. i just wish it's done in the next season with a proper build-up from the start
Starkboy Posted May 29, 2022 Posted May 29, 2022 Btw there's a lil trailer of volume 2 out there in case someone who finished volume 1 is interested: Spoiler As you can see there's Robin, Nancy and Steve fighting in the Upside Down. So Robin is joining Steve and there's no Steve saving Nancy for now. Then we have Dustin and Eddie also in another place. I can't tell about Max but Lucas is not in the Upside Down (he will probably face the boys gang coming for him?) El will face the police/government/whatever it is coming for her and she'll be joined by Mike and the California squad No idea what's gonna go down for the Russia plotline other than them escaping (seems like Hopper is finding out something?) There's a scene of Vecna killing someone, it's probably the big victim of the season. If Eddie/Steve die I'd imagine Dustin being there so it doesn't look good for Eddie. However the barefeet points out its Steve being killed (he was the only one half dressed iirc)
Eóghan Posted May 29, 2022 Posted May 29, 2022 Chapter 4 is makin way more buzz online than Chapter 7 thanks to "Running Up That Hill" goin super viral. Kinda iconic moment for Max.
fridayteenage Posted May 29, 2022 Posted May 29, 2022 (edited) i wonder if millie and sadie are the women born this century primarily famous for acting (so not, like, olivia) who have the biggest stanbases these days Edited May 29, 2022 by fridayteenage
Totami Legend Posted May 29, 2022 Posted May 29, 2022 The way the bullying plot didn't go anywhere. What was even the point? The entire California stuff from the first episodes was literally useless. Maybe covid changed their plans and they had to switch locations? 23 minutes ago, Eóghan said: Chapter 4 is makin way more buzz online than Chapter 7 thanks to "Running Up That Hill" goin super viral. They wanted to cast doubt on her hero status before the big reveal.
