It was okay. It's definitely the weakest season so far. There's way too many characters which makes some of them so pointless and redundant. Like what was Will and Jonathan's point at all this season? Instead of adding a random new stoner character give them something to do like  and this is coming from someone who loves ensemble casts usually 

 

Also part 2 is only 2 episodes??? What the **** I was legit expecting another seven. What the actual **** is the point of making us wait besides keeping the subscribers for another month  Netflix has turned into such a trash company

I don't care about the Russian and the Cali gang but the Hawkins and Eleven plotline is honestly the best it has ever been since the first season.

 

They also kicked the horror aspect like a few hundred notch.

Those scenes with Fred, Chrissy and the reveal with Max legit made me watch it on mute. The clock chimes in the mansion and the bone cracks were traumatising

The only ones I remember is that guy playing his guitar on top of a trailer (who I now assume it’s Eddie) and Erica looking like she discovered something and seems like she was in the upside down

Dustin, Nancy, Steve and Max are kinda the stars of this season!!

 

Used to not like Steve but his character this season made me want to **** his brain out ugh.

Dustin and Steve have always been the best characters, their scenes are always the best and everyone involved with them becomes interesting

Love Max, Robin and also Eddie was a great addiction. 

 

Nancy redeemed herself, she was kinda annoying last season, but again maybe this was something to do with the group and the fact she wasnt with Jonathan's boring ass

Just finished. This season so far was a chore. A lot of filler. Episodes 6 and 7 are where it's at though.

 

Unpopular opinion, but I don't get the hype for Sadie Kitchen Sink. Meh.

Episode 7 is an hour and 40 minutes long, but it’s the best episode in the whole serie so far. It makes sooo hype for the last two episodes!

I also have seen people saying they think he is going to die again at the end of this season and I'm like ummmm so we can end up in the exact same spot that we started in?!

Great season. Probably my favourite along with S1, but then again I enjoyed them all. The only season that wasn't too memorable was S2. 

 

 

 

Main plot

Max, Nancy, Robin, Steve and surprisingly Dustin were all great. I could talk for ages about the main story, my only real complaint being the Mind Flayer seemed to be a more credible threat than Vecna, but I'll wait for the final 2 episodes to air before any final judgements. 

 

Joyce / Hopper

I actually didn't mind this storyline, although I feel like it should of only spanned across the first few episodes (and with Jane / Hopper returning in the final 2 episodes that have yet to air) I think the main problem with this storyline is it got shafted as most the attention and action was spent on the main story in Hawkins, and it dragged on for too long whilst the main plot was moving so quick. Also probably didn't help that those 2 characters have always had leading roles, whilst getting a less screen time this season. The only thing I didn't like was Hoppers plot armour, mainly the broken foot thing and him walking like normal the entire time

Also I have this weird attraction to Enzo  

 

Eleven / Papa

I quite enjoyed Jane's character in the first few episodes, but after she got abducted I do admit it got a little redundant at times with her trying to regain her powers etc. Episode 7 was great though. I'm glad she got shafted aside and let other characters shine (particularly Max) in the middle of this season. 

 

Mike / Will / Jonathan 

Nothing much to say here. Little screen time, but tbh I always found these characters (particular Will and his acting) to be pretty average, so I'm ok with them having a minor role this season.
