About 84% through the main story and I don’t want it to end  I dragged it out so long, I keep completing all of the side missions etc., this game is so good.

I finished the main story  An incredible game, possibly one of my favorite games of all time. The combat was mindblowing and so much fun but the story… It made me cry, laugh, think and I literally had goosebumps during the ending. The characters were incredibly well written, Dion, Clive, Joshua, Cid were all so likeable. I just wish Jill had a bit more depth but I love her as well.

omg you guys im playing through FF X and this is SO different from FF7. there is so much stuff happening on my screen and this big ass ability web to learn underwater exploration without breathing and what not

 

and i accidentally started on a harder difficulty too. i dont know what is going but im excited, scared, stressed, and turned on at the same time

X is my first FF game since ff7 so the culture shock and graphic changes were shocking to me  it’s so different

Nope, there's Standard and Expert modes - the Expert mode just enables you to build the characters more freely at the start, so you could have Lulu as a White Mage for example. Doesn't make the fights necessarily harder but can be if you aren't careful and don't have certain skills that you'd normally have during a Standard playthrough

 

We should have a Final Fantasy base tbh. I play FFX every year cause it's my favourite game ever and it's coming up to 12 months

The way I dropped this game 20 hours in and went back to playing Atelier Sophie (75 hours and counting!)

 

I'm going to wait and see if the DLC fleshes out the gameplay elements more, right now it feels like there's a lot to be desired.
