Venus is really giving me watered down Ms Fierce tbh…

 

unfortunately I see her and denim as shoo ins for the top 3/4. Not sure who else just yet (Hoping for Kiki to start pulling thru but TGE was my other fave this season so  )

i feel like it's obvious to me. i predict it will be venus, aurora, denim and kiki.

I forgot about Aurora and I also think Aimee will be up there as well

Denim is such a star, seeing a top 4 with her, Venus, Aurora, and I want Luna just wish she wasn't so reserved!

I was sad to see Girlfriend go but tbh I don’t think she cared about the competition much and there would have been more challenges she wouldn’t have been comfortable with…especially Snatch Game. 
 

Venus and Denim are the most interesting queens and I think Kiki serves great looks and Aurora is pretty entertaining. Would be a great top 4. I also really enjoy watching Kitten Kaboodle and Aimee is so much fun too. 
 

Melinda and Luna need to leave ASAP. I know Nearah in real life and hope she gets booted shortly too lol.

Melinda is entertaining, who cares if she's unpolished the cast is great and entertaining. Other western franchises should take notes.

This season is boring me but that said, every Canada season did until I watched back a second time. The Canadian girls tend to lack the confidence of the US girls, the wit of the UK girls, and the chicness of many of the European franchises… the result is a bunch of ok cross dressers who can sort of sometimes pretend like they are all around performers

I just love how unserious CDR takes itself. It’s a crunchy franchise but endearing at the same time. That being said, since we know CDR 5 is happening, they need to cast comedy queens or more Jack of all trade queens next season. It’s very evident with the S4 cast that a majority of the cast is just not good at the drag race format. Literally only Aurora, Venus, Kitten, Aimee and to an extent Melinda probably can do good enough in comedy challenges.

Yea I totally agree. I also think it's crazy that season 1 used up the best queens in Canada LOL That cast is amazing and really gave me hope for future seasons.

I need to rewatch S1 everyone says it’s the best season and I only remember really liking Jimbo… and now she drives me up a wall

That episode was …bad. Honestly none of them are great performers or good at comedy I’m scared for snatch game…

This season is going to be a problem for me because I don't see any appeal in Denim or Venus and it's obvious they're getting pushed hard

I’m not a big Venus fan but there’s no denying she’s destroying this competition and it’s her crown to lose at this point 

 

Kitten is slaying (flopped hardcore this week tho) and it’s nice to see an older queen get the flowers she deserves 

 

Aurora will be too 4 for sure too, she’s killed it the last few weeks and glad the judges gave her a deserved win this episode

The judging was bad but the cast and lipsyncs were memorable. And some challenges were strong. Idk what happened in season 2.

but the performances were really really bad.  Even the “winning” group was meh.  It’s not even on the girls.  They obviously had so little time to choreograph & practice. That, and whatever vocal effects (or lack thereof?) were used made everything sound even more cheap 

 

not really on the queens though even if those problems had been resolved it would have resulted in the same bottom 2

performances crossed into so bad it's good/entertaining territory for me. first group bc it was so terrible and second group bc it was so comically cringe with the exaggerated pumping heart motions etc.

 

if I watch a drag race franchise expecting well produced girl group songs and talented performers then I'd watch drag race philippines. canada drag race isn't that kind of show which is okay, it still has more personality and better casts than the other western franchises which these days commit the reality tv cardinal sin of being boring and uninteresting.

this is the first thing that popped into my head during the mini-challenge 

 the Snatch game will be hilarious hopefully in all the wrong ways since that challenge showed none of them have 1 funny bone in their body

 

 

I just hope once they all flop they do not manage to be boring at the same time

would have put venus high over denim but correct results otherwise. the mini challenge also made me scared for the upcoming comedy challenges  glad i'm not the only one who thought it. seems the producers are too considering we're about to have our second look challenge in four episodes

 

seems obvious venus will make the finale and denim is being dragged there however well or badly he does. the other two spots i'm not too sure about. hopefully kitten and aurora

i would guess nearah and luna are the next two out

Very this. I had hopes for this season when I watched the meet the queens special but… wtf is up with these two getting pushed. Venus I kind of get because she’s done okay in each week. Denim… I wonder if…

Allegedly Pythia is on Global All Stars. I’m wondering if they’re keeping Denim around because she’s Pythia’s drag daughter as extra promo. The cast for GAS hasn’t been officially revealed so maybe the rumors are off but…
