Venus earning a rosebud for that untucked unpadded entrance look is an absolute joke. I can already tell she is going to get the Kendal Gender treatment and make it to the end.

 

Nina Bonina Brown is going to read the Canadian girls for filth in her rawview. 

 

Kiki was absolutely robbed this episode.

do not understand the point of the entrances at all... did something happen that had to get cut for the Tegan and Sara segment?

 

Venus in the top was shocking. her second runway was decent and her third might have been my top toot on the runway but that entrance look should have immediately excluded her from the top and the win over someone with three good outfits e.g. Luna or Aimee. Kiki and Denim would have been the correct top two anyway

one of the worst lipsyncs this year too

 

Melinda and Sisi BOMBED  I can't see them lasting long at all whereas at least Nearah seems like she could stay for another few episodes

 

better premiere than S3 but I won't count my chickens yet

• Denim has charisma to them, though I do feel they do come off more hot mess than fashion most of the time. I'm getting Gottmik teas but with slightly better performance skills (still underwhelming though). Wouldn't be surprised to see payola for them as well.
• The Girlfriend Experience is so incredibly boring. Her runway look was giving woman... but extremely boring. I don't want to gatekeep drag, but there was absolutely no creativity in her runway look.
• Aurora Matrix left an AMAZING first impression, she has a great personality, but kinda faded in the background. Kinda wish she'd pop off a bit more.
• Aimee and Kiki Coe are giving me classic drag and I hope they do great for the rest of the season.

This thread is gagging for TGE and so am I…I’m gagging. Literally. She made me cringe. It’s like girl you clearly just wanna be an escort/stripper/sex worker  or whatever- and that’s great. She’s probably make BAAANK doing that bc she’s hot and has a really naughty energy to her. But drag? I didn’t see any drag??

 

venus’s first look alone should have landed her in the bottom. But I will say her 3rd look was one of the best for sure. But to judge them based on the 3 looks, Kiki was robbed blind.

 

the bottom 3 were all a hot mess unfortunately. Neara’s 3rd look was actually one of my faves but her first 2 were horrendous.

 

idk if I’m really feeling this season yet the way this thread is. I thought the premiere was very over produced as DRC has been doing lately, since S3 and vsTW.

 

I just want to see a goddamn fair season of drag race where the queens earn their spots in the finale without payola or gimmicks

While Sissy and Melinda did not give at all, I still hope it's Nearah that leaves first...

She's like a Walmart TGE with Denim's voice. She just doesn't bring anything to the cast, while Sissy is at least a bit unique and Melinda is charming (and brings the kii's).

Forgot to leave my thought on E1 but agree with everyone else that Venus was payolad to hell and back both for that rosebud and that top 2 placement. Like, the f*ck?

 

Kiki and Denim were for sure the correct top 2, with Kiki deserving the win more than everyone else. I enjoyed Luna, TGE, Kitten and Aimee too, good showings so far. I expected much more from Nearah but correct bottom 3 at the end of the day.

 

The entrances made no sense by the way, literally no point in doing all that when they could've come in as they always do. Looooved the runway/show they did before the actual runway though, such a fresh idea (felt very Dragula coded to me for some reason).

So glad to see the Venus hate, because I truly felt gaslit watching that. The entrance being praised for having her balls out is extremely scary to me.. Ru needs to gather them or something, because what the ****.

I'm kinda living for The Girlfriend Experience. Her name is stan worthy alone and it makes it obvious that her style of drag is very womana. Yes she does give stripper more than drag queen, but she does well so I don't mind. 

 

I'm so glad we are all on the same page about Venus. While I did like her second look, the praise for the first look was incomprehensible.

Well deserved win for Kitten, best in the challenge and one of the best runways  Venus had one of the best runways I've ever seen,  so well deserved top placing. 

 

That All Stars-esque twist with The Golden Beaver 

 

Very surprising choice of lipsync with Avril's I'm With You. Luna showed more emotion in her lipsync than Sisi so glad she stayed (and Sisi didn't even bother to wear shoes on the runway )

Surprised Sisi was in the bottom because she was the most memorable in her group. But I guess they wanted to protect Kiki and Denim who were in the top last week.

The lipsync song was... a choice
