Yea I just watched the Bring Back My Girls for S4 and that cast washes this one. This episode (Snatch Game) made me uncomfortable at moments

Rooting for Makayla but maybe the most unlikable cast a drag race season has ever had  everyone is too self serious

I mean yeah, it does have its moments which have been carried by the show's icons (like Fierce or Melinda). We've had some great looks and fun lipsyncs as well. But in terms of challenges and overall casting? Kind of underwhelming imo. I'm still watching because I still like most of the queens, and I think their craft is great, but the starpower is just not there. I also have issues with the judging in general.

Snatch Game hasn't been funny in years (if ever tbh lol) but…. Comedic improve and witty back-and-forth should be a skill assessed on this show somehow. This cast just has like -4 charisma and personality so of course it was going to be a disaster

I don't agree with the general sentiment in this thread about the season, I think the cast is actually cute and endearing (especially compared to previous seasons) and the challenges have been fun so far.

 

Now the judging is questionable, but that's been a staple since the very beginning. They're really pushing Virgo for the crown but I wish it goes to Perla. Makayla is a great queen and a fave of mine but I think she needs a little more experience before a crown is put on her head.

It's clear they aren't 'funny' queens, but I found in other domains they mostly all excel in elsewhere.

I understand Virgo isn't great TV, but I actually really like her. It's giving Pearl to me. Anyway, the only reason I tune in every week is Perla. I haven't been this excited for someone's runway package since... Nymphia, but to be fair, that's a pretty high standard!I really am obsessed, she turns it every week, and I GENUINELY think she somehow manages to be unique in 25623 seasons of drag race

 

 

 

When I'm too busy, I lowkey just skip to her look and placement, then watch the actual episode when I have time. The only noteworthy thing about this cast are their need to fight about everything and Perla's fashion.

Perla is just SENSUAL!! love the way she do things sm, it's not in your face but still a SERVE.

Next week's win could be between Helena/Makayla so we'll see

Makayla is so forced and contrived with everything she says and does. She is so clearly trying to get her memeable moments for the camera. I cannot get into her at all.
