There's like 4 queens I like on this cast, which might be twice as many as the previous season, so that's a bonus I guess.

 

I usually like when no one goes home on the first episode because it gives the queens another chance to show their potential, but I really don't care for most of them

I think Perla did good in the challenge but that runway was not worthy of a win. Helena should have won instead. Hell, many of the safe girls had better runways!

 

Why did Perla save Xana? Anyways,  Tiffany ate Tara up in that lipsync. The use of **** The Pain Away blew my mind 

 

Lipsync slayoff next week will be a top tier episode

hmmmmm after enjoying the premiere so much this ep was really disappointing. happy for Pearla but none of those PSAs were particularly funny, the upcoming comedy challenges are gonna be painful

There's sth captivating about Perla. Idk what it is bc it's not like she's terribly unique or memorable but I'm very intrigued by her. I hope Dabish murders episode 3 and picks up steam. I need her in the top 3/4.

The cast is giving Down Under sorry. Such a downgrade from the iconic S4 cast

So happy to see them giving artists like Jaylene the platform to not only showcase their culture but educating us on the horrors of the past. I learned about the 60s scoop in film school when we watched a documentary (Birth of a Family) which highlighted 4 siblings separated from their birth parents finally reuniting. It isn't something really discussed within the education system. Also despite its name, it didn't just occur in the 1960s, it was still happening in the 1980s.

The Virgo Queen ATE that lipsync! Well deserved win and now the frontrunner with 2 wins  Only results I disagreed with was Uma instead of Xana and Sanjiia instead of Perla.

 

Perla ATE that lipsync for your life even though Tiffany did okay so the result made sense there.

I agree that Perla is a grower and she's pretty endearing. I like her as a character 

 

I feel bad that Tiffany went home when she was one of the cleaner performers but then again she wasn't really giving much so….

lol Down Under S4 that's currently airing is across the board way better than Canada S5 so far and definitely S4 (except legend Verga ofc)

Sanjina was SO messy  her look being a shred of sparkly fabric over wrinkled undergarments that poked out every time she barrelled across the stage but nobody acknowledged. It was waaaaay too much and I couldn't even tell if she knew the words because there was SO much movement and often repeating the same movement. The total opposite of Perla who was precise, graceful and captivating. She absolutely could've won this week instead of Virgo too but because of the weird ass format she had to lipsync for her life. Weird choice. 

 

What would've happened if one group won the first 3 lipsyncs in a row?  Bottom 4 (+beaver)? Idgi.

Weird challenge format and judging, but realistically Tiffany was never gonna serve in anything outside of a performance challenge, so I'm not mad she left even if it feels a bit suspect. 

 

I would have switched the winner in Sanjina and Uma's rounds. Perla was a delight.

 

Virgo is definitely a legitimate threat/talent, but the way she's getting rewarded with early wins for doing very little is reminding me of Venus. The difference here is that Virgo's wins are justifiable, they're just the product of a really nonsensical format that CDR has been using to judge those episodes.
