Great premiere! Top 2 were very deserved and Virgo only really edged out Makayla due to the lipsync, as she was the clear winner with her runway for me. 

 

The bottoms are very lucky this was a non-elimination week.

I was kinda turned off by the first like 6 entrances but it looks like a decent group of girls by the end of the episode

Why does Mini Wang need to quit? I thought her looks were good.

Decent episode. The lack of interactions during Werk Room entrances still makes it so weird.

 

The Virgo Queen has got to be a Doja impersonator, right?! She looks just like her!

And Perla looks like a cross between Timothee Chalamet and Miz Cracker

I would've put Jaylene in the top 2 over TVQ but TVQ did slightly better than Makayla

The bottom two are very lucky it was a non elimination episode. I personally would've gone with Jaylene and Makayla in the top two but TVQ (can't stand that name) did very well and I think she killed the lip sync.
 

Sanjina… I felt bad because I understand the body dysmorphia is real but… how was she safe? 2/3 looks were crunchy and the makeup barely tolerable in the third. 
 

For me, Minhi's first and third outfits were good. The second one was basic af and gave man in a corset (and not in the good way). Was it just me or was the padding off on the third look? The third one needed to be a couple of inches longer in the front or it needed better shoes but overall it was good. 
 

Tiffany Ann Co. (Love her name) seemed fun but I agree that the runway look had no business being considered "best drag". 
 

Helena Poison's outfits were well constructed. I didn't get a lot of personality but I'm excited to see more. 
 

Perla's first two looks were great. I was a bit meh on the third but it was well constructed. She just lacked any personality in the video. Hopefully she comes out of her shell quickly.  
 

Tara Nova talked a LOT of **** for a queen in the bottom. Here's hoping she brings it next week. 
 

Uhm… has anyone told Uma to tone down that harsh line on her face? It's incredibly distracting. 
 

No golden beaver so far. Anyone know if it's coming back this season?

I'm not being serious lol but her makeup is busted and her clothes don't fit right for all the boy body she has going on. Her runway dress for example was too short

so we're getting another House of Couture winner right bc miss Makayla STOMP STOMP STOMPED  

 

I was surprised Xana didn't get a thorn, i thought she was the weakest in both entrance look AND the music video  

 

really strong cast so far and I'm so glad there was no elim. although she was a bit basic I thought Tara has a lot of potential, she's gorgeous (makeup on point!) and has a likeable personality. Pearla might've missed the mark on her verse but her looks were all good so I would've been sad to see either of them go already.

 

really enjoying the 3 Tgirls  Sanjina gotta work on her makeup tho  Helena Poison is also a lot of fun but i'm not sure how versatile she can be. I thought Virgo was also really good in all the challenges, she could be a threat

 

I'm not feeling Xana, Uma or Minhi

I was kinda dissapointed with the first episode:

- not having interactions between queens while entering the werkroom

- roses and thorns were not a twist, 3 tops and bottoms as in most episodes

- the entrance room should not be ranked when you have already an extra runway and a performance, they can put you in the bottom/top just focusing on one out of three ranked things

- they could have left Brooklyn out of this performance tbh

It's been 5 seasons and the lighting work is still nasty. It cheapens everything, even queens with good make up look busted

Anyone else annoyed with the 2-spirit thing? It's not a scientific term so passing it off as a gender is not doing anyone any favors. I'm sure there are similar themes in other cultures/religions but no one makes a big deal out of them. I just don't get why it's even part of the alphabet acronym now when non-binary is right there expressing the same thing. Like, I can literally invent a religion right now and name the gender non conforming experience "dualipility" and make it a thing. What's the point?

I obviously did... which is why I said what I  said. I don't think religious beliefs/theories have any place when it comes to societal acceptance of non-cis genders. I thought we were past that.  Especially when there are terms that have gained prominence that describe the same thing. Adding all these terms from different cultures that basically translate to non-binary or gender non-conforming aka terms we already have, just opens the door for confusion and chaos.

 

Also, try to be creative or at least act like an adult next time you quote me
