ATRL Moderator feelslikeadream Posted September 6, 2022 ATRL Moderator Posted September 6, 2022 I'm caught up through the makeup palette episode and it's CLEAR this season is a major improvement over season 2 It kind of has the same problem as S2 where none of the queens feels like a true *star* with that IT factor, but the girls are at least very entertaining to watch. Every single girl on S2 bored me to death. The runway for this last episode was incredible Everyone looked amazing except for Kimmy and Jada. Speaking of Jada, her payola is baffling. She has worn such awful things on the runway but never gets read for it. Her rock salt dress was teeeeerrible. And her art look had a good message, but was still ugly as a garment. I'm truly disturbed thinking she's gonna be in the finale after all these bad performances and ugly looks, but we'll see.

This is the *third time* in the entire franchises history where the queen in the finale with the most wins (fierce and Giselle tied for most wins) didn’t get to lip sync for the crown. first was Shea, and she lost the lip sync fair and square to Sasha. second was shangela, and well, the jury twist was dumb, but it was explained to us. this time we don’t even get an explanation as to why fierce isn’t top 2. Judges didn’t even read her for her finale performance (which they could have) or say jada was the best in the final challenge (she got 2nd best critiques for the challenge next to kimmy). So like there’s no explanation as to why she was top 2 and fierce wasn’t they just I guess wanted cannon fodder for Giselle to win. Even though in actuality jada stomped on Giselle in the final lip sync
