No. Stop asking for this show to cast has beens.

it's better when the cast is 'new' like the italians this show, daphne, albie...

This show basically revitalised Jennifer Coolidge's career, so this was an unnecessarily rude and inaccurate take.

Jennifer Coolidge was never a big name, she was the mom in american pie

She had a very big career that tailored off. The fact that you clearly had to copy and paste her name shows your lack of knowledge of her career.

what is even this? i copied it from your post so i wouldnt have to write it. she didnt have a very big career, she was a supporting role in american pie and legally blonde. not u acting like she was in annafaris/smg league, the delusion :biblio:

There are so many great "has-beens" or working character actors out there who only need one great script sent their way and magic happens. Jennifer was the perfect example, or the Everything Everywhere cast, Brendan Fraser, Jean Smart, Melanie Lynskey, Henry Winkler, Regina King, Bryan Cranston, etc...

I much rather see actors like that being given a chance than Hollywood casting the same people over and over again.

Regina King, Henry Winkler, and Jean Smart in a mini-series together would be insane (for me personally, I would just love to see the three of ‘em play off one another)

The lies.

She’s smashing with her current show. This show can use familiar faces!

She's had multiple iconic roles throughout her career, she faced a slump and then this show catapulted her once again. So this narrative you're trying to push is not only rude and unnecessary but inaccurate.

I would love for Jim Carrey to also have his big comeback moment with this show, he truly deserves it

Just finished season 2

I prefer season 1 , it was way more funny and the stories were waaaayyyy more interesting but Jennifer's scenes on the boat on the last episode of season 2 were OOOOOOMMMMFFFFGGGGGG

Is it weird that I find S1 so much better than S2? The latter is boring me so much. I haven't touched the show in a month and I still have like 3 episodes left. I devoured S1 in like 2 or 3 days. :rip:

Started watching this show. S1 and I’m 3 eps in… Not super into it so far but I’m willing to stick it out cause I’m sick with nothing else to do. When does it get good?

I kinda felt the same. I felt like season 1 was more chaotic and that I cared about more characters.

Season 2 was still good but not in the same ballpark imo.

I liked S1 and S2 equally but most people I know either hate S2 and love S1, or the reverse. I thought they were both super interesting stories and had their own complex commentary.

Finally finished S2. I almost gave up but glad I didn't - it got so much better after ep 4. I really like how they focused on the boring B characters towards the end (the hookers and hotel manager specifically). And that sex scene between the nephew and the uncle :WAP:

I still prefer S1 though.

I would say S1 had more interesting stories ( the millionaire prick with his mom , the family , the superior receptionist) , where S2 had Jennifer Goddess and the rest of the stories were just meh ( all of them )

is it because tanya and greg appeared in s1? also, good that evan pulled out, will sharpe was amazing.

no it's because it's an ongoing series not a mini or limited series lol

Can we please get Sarah Michelle gellar on next season? Her career needs it badly! :biblio:

honestly projects like this is what she needs and deserves

the actors who played daphne and albie have been around for a minute. no need to disrespectful. smg is worthy of this project

jamie lee curtis would be a good addition

This is a great show and while I'm pleased for her success, it will comfortably live on without Jennifer "isn't she so ditzy!" Coolidge. The obsession gays have with her is mystifying, especially given all the talented actors in the show. :rip:

Both seasons are great but I think S2 has the edge for me.
