Tanya kinda has to return somehow because the memes I’ve seen today have left me in tears.

Why not have a season set in the past with Tanya and her mother :cm:

The SCREAM i let out at this, the camera lingering on his face for just an extra second to hold his look :dies:

I was LOSING IT

Idc Jennifer ate that entire finale UP.  The rollercoaster she took me on was everything

I'm so glad this show exists to give Jennifer space to do things she probably wouldn't be cast to do otherwise. I hope her career keeps going strong and she gets more opportunities. Would love to seem more of her shooting people lol

Harper and Portia are the worst kind of millennial girls because they're the type to think that they're smarter, more "woke", honest, and clever than everyone else, but in the end they're just as dumb, judgmental, and selfish.

The show makes that very clear.

Exactly, and add Albie as well. The faux-woke Ivy League grad who lectures everyone about misogyny and classism while living off the wealth and privilege of his family.

I don’t really get the Portia hate tbh. Sure, she’s incredibly naive but what did she actually do WRONG? I don’t think it’s her fault that she wasn’t entirely interested in Albie nor do I think it’s her fault that Jack intentionally fooled her

And honestly, I liked the full circle moment where Albie and Portia realized they overlooked the natural (albeit.. boring?) connection they had in order to chase something more interesting/dangerous/disingenuous.

And not only is it sad how Tanya died, but I think I’m most sad that Portia wasn’t able to “save” her

It was the constant whining and moping about being stuck on an all-expenses-paid luxury vacation to Italy

Also she didn’t even try to save Tanya

… yeah all that except she was initially told to stay in her room and be invisible lol. That would feel humiliating

She didn’t get the chance to save Tanya. She was phone-less, car-less and stuck in an unfamiliar part of an unfamiliar country with someone she barely knew who turned out to be affiliated with conmen and murderers. Honestly I could feel her panic/dread watching the show and that’s why I felt for her

Portia and Harper are my GIRLS and you Daphne-relating types are gonna have to DEAL

I'm sad we wont see Jennifer anymore this was a perfect opportunity for her and she killed it, I'm sure she will get a ton of work after this and I can't be mad since it was so entertaining. Her death was iconic and the suspense was unreal, I really wasn't expecting it to be her this entire season. Both seasons have been fantastic but I think this one was slightly more fun, the stakes were raised this season for sure. I don't know how they can top this season, but I can't wait to see them try!

Y'all realise you can stan for more than one female character?

Just a reminder that being a hoe wins. I’m bout to make my ad visible & dust off my “work” phone

Meghann Fahy was outstanding this whole season, truly the mvp!

Thrilled she’s getting her flowers like gosh she outacted everybody in just this sequence alone!

Lucia, Mia & Valentina were my faves as well!

Tanya is coming back next season as a ghost to haunt Greg.

Or Greg might return with her ashes like she did with her mother in the first season :cries:

a full circle moment :chick1:

one of the best episodes of tv I've ever seen. My heart was racing the whole way through. Meghann Fahy was acting DOWN in that scene with Ethan!

Awww poor Tanya telling herself “you got this” just before her iconic slip. You did amazing sweetie!

the fact that Greg wanted her to have the perfect day in Italy BECAUSE HE WAS GONNA KILL HER!!!

This is why it was so sad. Her last moments being so desperate :chick1: why couldn't she live to tell the tale, it would've been iconic

I don't see Daphne as sad. At all. She has figured out what works for her in order to be happy. She picks the battles that matter and ignores the ones that don't. As opposed to Harper, who is a prisoner of her own simpleton black-and-white worldview. She sees herself as morally superior to those around her, and has a pathological need to obsess over everyone else's character flaws and failings. No, we can't enjoy our vacation, because that other couple is fake and they don't even vote!  Of course, it's all a desperate attempt to mask the truth that she's just as self-centered and privileged as everyone else.

Yet everything Harper said/predicated became true ? I love Harper so much, as well as Tonya, Portia, AND Daphnie. Harper just a bit more.

I don’t think so. She was convinced that Ethan cheated on her and what better way of getting back at him then to sleep w his best friend. It was so obvious given the door was latched and the door to the connecting room was open

Mike White said it's most likely they really did only kiss. He's the writer/creator so ?‍♂️

But I don't think they just kissed because Harper was acting very evasive in her argument with E

You can't really argue when the creator himself said he "thinks" they just kissed. He said there is time not accounted for but that's only because he loves audiences to come to their own conclusions. It definitely confirms they didn't sleep together. HOWEVER, he wouldn't say anything on if or not Ethan and Daphnie slept together. Just that whatever they did let Ethan let go of his jealousy.

What I seem to not understand is how Harper can readily agree to sleep with the very guy who was coaxing her husband to infidelity and she had a literal breakdown over it ?

I see many people hating on Ethan in this thread. I just don't get it. He literally did nothing wrong till the last episode. He did about Cam sleeping with the girls because that's none of Harper's business and that's brocode. Harper in fact pushed him indirectly to sleep with Daph...

The show’s second season introduced viewers to a murderers’ row of new characters, played by Aubrey Plaza, Theo James, Meghann Fahy, Michael Imperioli, Will Sharpe, Beatrice Grannò, Haley Lu Richardson, Adam DiMarco, and many, many concerning men. But Jennifer Coolidge, returning from the Emmy-winning first season, had another standout showing—the question of whether she could she reprise the role of Tanya again, however, was answered in the season 2 finale.

Season 3 is set to take place in Asia, exploring the themes of death and Eastern religion and spirituality. Coolidge surprisingly returns in a different role as Tanya’s estranged and bitchy twin sister Angela. Tasked to fulfill her much resented sibling’s last wish, she’s at The White Lotus Tibet for her sister’s traditional Himalayan burial. On this journey, Angela finds she and her twin had more in common than expected and learns some shocking secrets about her brother-in-law Greg. It remains to be seen which other troubled guests will grace the grounds of the mountainous new White Lotus property.

No arrival dates have dropped just yet, but as creator Mike White only finished editing this season “10 days ago,” as he recently told Katie Couric, it may be a while. “I need to reboot a little bit,” White told Couric on her podcast. “I don’t have a lot of gas in the tank. So I need to figure out how to unplug and refresh or something.” May we suggest…a vacation?
