Bad_vocal_technique Posted December 12, 2022 Posted December 12, 2022 A friend told me she hated the finale because everyone kind of ended being a jerk or making a bad choice. ?

And how is this a problem? A perfect represantation of the show and its characters. Ironic, stupid, and brutal.

Ironic, stupid, and brutal. Yes, I agree. I guess she expected the show to represent society in general where not everyone is like this.

Kylizzle Posted December 12, 2022 Posted December 12, 2022 The way I ended up rooting for QUEENS Lucia and Mia. I'm happy to see the locals winning considering in the last season all the locals got screwed. Hopefully Valentina finds someone at the gay bar. Albie and Portia flopping Albie being exposed as a fake feminist willing to forgive his dads cheating and trying to manipulate his mom just to pay Lucia $50k only for Lucia to burn him A masterclass in writing Harper/Ethan ended up being just like Cameron/Daphne in the end. Seems like they realized the mind games and cheating are what makes a wealthy relationship work which seems sad, but if it works for them, oh well. I think Ethan/Daphne won't be happy for long. I've never been more relieved to see a sex scene but WOW the broken statue metaphor was the most heavy handed thing I've seen in awhile.
Orsay Posted December 12, 2022 Posted December 12, 2022 Tanya went out swinging and we will forever stan In the end she got taken out by her own stupidity, which is what got her into that mess in the first place. But seeing her take out all those gays was so fun
Orsay Posted December 12, 2022 Posted December 12, 2022 Was that the guy at the end who was pretending to be Lucia's pimp? I mean you had to know she was scamming them nnn
Anye Posted December 12, 2022 Posted December 12, 2022 I am screaming whenever they’re on the yacht scene.
X~MoviePoP Posted December 12, 2022 Posted December 12, 2022 I DIED LAUGHING WHEN SHE STARTED SHOOTING EVERYONE. THEN I DIED LAUGING HOW SHE FELL OFF THE BOAT. I CANNNOTTTTTT

Triton Posted December 12, 2022 Posted December 12, 2022 Tanya went out like the queen she is, freshly dicked, coked and looking fine in Valentino. Portia should have died, the three men are trash, a hooker should have died and the couples are just problematic. Hope to see Daphne in the next season getting her fair share of D.
Triton Posted December 12, 2022 Posted December 12, 2022 Honestly though, Tanya’s husband was too minor of a character to get him to be the mastermind. Since he’s in Denver hope the next season is in Aspen.

Orsay Posted December 12, 2022 Posted December 12, 2022 This finale was AMAZING though, Jennifer deserves awards
Delirious Posted December 12, 2022 Posted December 12, 2022 ...is this supposed to make me want to go to Italy? Be ause it did literally the complete opposite in thelast episode
Clandestine Posted December 12, 2022 Posted December 12, 2022 Even though I have questions I very much enjoyed the finale. And I think this show is one that likes to raise questions of the viewer and let us come to our own conclusions so it seems fitting anyway. I think Tanya was one of the main characters I could most tolerate dying since two seasons feels like an appropriate amount even though everything about her this episode was hilarious. I love how the show makes such screwed up situations into a kind of happy ending. I always found myself rooting for Ethan and Harper even when he lost his mind. I was most happy to see Lucia get her money though. She earned that for her performance.
♚ PRiNCE HiGH ♚ Posted December 12, 2022 Posted December 12, 2022 Hm I feel like they missed the mark with several characters' endings. Tanya's, portia's, lucia's etc. Portia being the biggest ***** of the series

flower moon Posted December 12, 2022 Posted December 12, 2022 the was amazing. was honestly so terrified for portia and tanya. yall REALLY hate on portia too much. the ending with lucia and mia was SO good. obvi she was a scammer but I didnt see it coming with her working with other hotel workers so glad valentina ended up a bit happy by the end tbh
flower moon Posted December 12, 2022 Posted December 12, 2022 (edited) tanyas reaction when the italian yacht captin guy said he was also gay also i feel like i got the wrong end of the stick but i thought portia was about to be like trafficked?? idk Edited December 12, 2022 by flower moon
Antisocialites Posted December 12, 2022 Posted December 12, 2022 "these gays, they're trying to murder me" S2 was incredible, probably better than S1 for me. the power dynamics between women and men were amazingly explored, innovative and so natural. Harper, Daphne, Tanya, Portia (don't understand the hate, she did nothing wrong!), Lucia, Valentina, Mia... all legends. I'm still gagging at Daphne casually revealing to Harper that her kids are not from Cameron but from her personal trainer
Istan4R Posted December 12, 2022 Posted December 12, 2022 This cast was amazing. For some reason I didn’t think this could top the first season but I think it did. Forgetting her name but the hotel manager did such a great job. I’ll miss Tanya though
