Regarding my first watch through of the series, I’m currently on S6. The Power of Three Blondes was such a funny episode. I would love for the Stillman sisters to return in a later episode but I’m not convinced they will.

I wish Japan would release a bluray set and would have finished their box sets, they're really awesome

but they stopped at season 5 so now my Japanese set is forever incomplete :chick3:

All the overseas editions are much more interesting. I'm only missing the Australian BoS version but it's so hard to find :cries:

It’s such a stunning set in person! Mine arrived yesterday and it was only £155, which is such a steal considering how rare it is.

It’s weird that the UK didn’t get a Blu-ray release. We only got S1 and then they stopped. It was just Germany and America that got the entire series. I read that S6 and S8 of the German set use the wrong soundtrack on the English versions of the episodes, so I’ve replaced the discs with the US versions as they have the same master, just the correct soundtrack this time.

I have been loving Charmed and although I’m shocked it’s taken me this long to finally start watching, I’m actually happy because the remaster is so well done and I’m glad this is my first experience of the show.

Your collection is so good! I would classify myself as a collector, but I’m more than happy with this German release of Charmed, so I don’t feel compelled to collect anymore editions. I would like to hunt down a Book of Shadows though!

I noticed that too, I'm the US but I was looking for a UK release and noticed they only did the first season, should have gotten at least the box set we have, even though it's very simple. Man I hate that they replaced the soundtrack/music, so many songs are different it makes scenes feel completely different sometimes.

Yay! Glad you're enjoying it. I love it, it's my favorite show, I re-watch seasons 1-3 the most as Prue is my favorite, but I do rewatch the entire series a few times out of the year.

But yeah I have a lot of the releases, all the soundtracks/scores, books, trading cards, etc. I have three of the BoS versions; the initial release (slide out box), the re-release version (they had issues with the discs & glue of the pages) and the big Deluxe version. They're so cool. But I really want the Aussie ver. the Triquetra even lights up!

I'm also meeting Shannen next week at Megacon & hopefully getting a few things signed so I'm excited or that! :duca:

the way people are just happy to hear one's side of the story and believe it as the absolute truth is baffling to me lol no crititical thinking

while shannen's view is valid to her experience it doesn't negate how Alyssa viewed things.

human interaction is filled with nuance. i think it's sad people are not given the opportunity to grow, learn and speak up for themselves because they are being ganged up upon

and yes alyssa is being ganged up, the other girls reconnected through doin tons of conventions together in the past 5 years which alyssa never had time to do until very recently, so now you probably have this group of 3 against 1, doing trips together, reminiscing behind the scene of those conventions and having selective memory about all the shady stuff alyssa MIGHT have done to them decades ago. literally mean girls mentality.

phoebe has always been my least favorite of the 4, i'v always stanned for prue/piper above everyone else and yet still this one-sided story and dynamic of 3 against 1 just spewing out vague stuff is weirding me out :doc:

at least I'm glad Rose has stopped mentioning her and ridiculing herself with her vague antics, monosyllabic, cringy quotes: "she's a lie", "i don't like her". like gurl give us specific details, give us the full story, not vague comments on instagram or shut the **** up. we know who Alyssa is associated with, so people pieced the pieces together but where are the FACTS? it's just accusations and speculations. (alyssa probably lawyered up, threatening a defamation case, hence why it's all awol from Rose since then)

let me not get started on Holly and her constant flip flopping, one day she's saying she's no longer on speaking terms with shannon on a podcast (Woman on top) while also doing episodes of "Grey's" as sisters with Alyssa, and on another day she's sending loving comments to Shannon and unfollowing Alyssa on instagram after reconnecting/doing tons of conventions with Rose. it's clear from the very beginning that Holly has always been in the middle of the petty ego battle between all of them, and has sadly been manipulated/used by both shannen and alyssa to throw off the balance of the trio in one way (shannen) or the other (alyssa). at least now it seems she finally picked her battles, because she throws tiny shades at Alyssa every chances she gets in her dreadful/lowcost Rewatch Podcast that she does with drew fuller/brian krause. don't even check it out guys, it's really bad.
i really loved shannon's podcast, she finally adressed for the first time why she left the show (especially the episode where she invited Holly) but even there, it was vague, and you could tell there's so much more to the story they're not telling us, so much is missing. all we know is things were bad enough that a corporate mediator had to get involved which I feel was downplayed on the podcast, and both shannon and holly said they refused to meet with the mediator which is odd to me. also shannon insinuated in the podcast that Alyssa was shady towards her in her book "Sorry Not Sorry" which is not true all, she's not mentioned not even once. the fact she took the title of a book she didn't even read as a slight is so petty. the last time alyssa spoke about shannon in a interview, she spoke very highly of her and actually took responsibility in the competition that build up between them at the time, but shannon has taken absolutely no responsability. and Holly herself said it best on her podcast: "There were no angels, there were no demons, we all had bad days, we all could have behaved better at certain points". and holly admitted that she was fascinated by Milano's big family that accpeted her and loved her as part of the family when she didn't have any.

all those relationships are way more nuanced than how these girls are trying to paint it, simply because they gassing each other up by being 3 against 1.

I remember growing up my mom didn’t want me to watch Charmed or read the Harry Potter books. She had a conspiracy that witchcraft was influencing kids :priceless: so I had to sneak and watch reruns my at friends house…. Then I would come home and start speaking dead Latin and dressing up as Prue :jonny6:

Thanks! Oh that's really cool, now I'm jealous! I used to have all the books but some got lost when I moved a few years back so I've been recollecting them, even some of the German hardcovers.

You're lucky about having all the magazines, they're very hard to find and can be quite expensive, especially the ones that came with/match the UK DVD Collage edition but I hope to collect them one day as well if possible! I've just started trying to collect the comic books again, that's gonna be fun for my wallet :dies:

I really enjoy collecting Charmed related things! I'm also excited for the new Funko Rewinds they're doing

Seems to be only Phoebe but I hope they do all the sisters eventually as I'd love to collect them as well since we won't get normal funko pop releases (I'm making my own, already got Shannen to sign my Prue one and next is Drew in April! 😁)

Thanks! :biggrin: When I brought it up to have her sign it she was so cute, she goes "Oh it's my bobblehead! Thats so cool" and she asked if the glittery teal sharpie was okay and asked "I hope it's not too girly" and I'm like no it's perfect! She could tell I was a bit nervouse but was such a sweetheart :weeps:

I wish I could have met them all but I didn't get the chance, but I did get to say hi Holly & Rose very briefly that day, its was nice! Hopefully another opportunity pops up and I can see them all as a group one day.

I'm super excited! He's my second favorite character, so I'm working on making a pop for him now as well! :D

They both signed my Book Of Shadows Deluxe and Drew signed my custom Chris Funko pop, a photo and my tshirt with him on it :WAP:

Drew is so awesome and fun, he was super excited about my shirt and the pop, he even took a video of my shirt I made to send his friend. He also signed it for me!

Shannen remembered me but couldn't place it at first she was like "I know you..." and I was like "Yeah I met you at MegaCon in Orlando a few months ago, I had the custom bobblehead" and she goes "Oh yeah! My bobbblehead! That was so awesome." Drew came over to her booth and we all got to have a good 5 minute conversation, it was the best. Drew was like "Look at his shirt!" and he told her I made it and she was like "you guys (the fans) are so amazing" and they were so sweet and told me they appreciate everything. She saw my shirt and I said "you guys are my favorites" and she jokingly went "this guy?! pfft" and me and Drew said at the same time "They're the same person

They also signed my giant Book Of Shadows Limited Deluxe Collection :biggrin:

Now to plan for my next con to meet the others! :duca:
