Just finished the last episode, doesn't hit as hard as the first season (which is hard cause it's one of my favorite things of all time) but it's still cute.

 

It felt short, I don't know what they have in store for us in season 3 cause I feel like they could've combined them.

Yeah they did the casting for it in December 2023. I applied but didn't get further in the process. I think it may have been filmed already, probably in late spring.

It was ok, kind of a filler season tho. T.O.P was fun. I'm glad we won't have to wait 3 years again and the finale is coming out next year

The new characters are less charismatic than the ones from S1, which is kind of funny since they casted a lot of well known names.

 

The recruiter (Gong Yoo) on the first episode was amazing

The story itself was quite boring but probably felt like that because the first season had a major first impact and it was going to be hard to top that! Short season tho, considering the long wait I would have expected at least 10 episodes. I'll give this a 7/10, worth a watch but not worth the wait

It's not as good as the first season but expected since that was once in a lifetime experience on Netflix lol!

Felt short and the ending was sooo disappointing, like what was the point in the last 2 episodes for it to lead to nowhere…

It kinda felt rushed and as mentioned before none of the characters were good enough to root for, that's what usually does it in a K-drama. 

 

I enjoyed it, but I hope s3 is coming sooner than s2 did, I assume they filmed the 2 seasons at the same time?

Yep it was filmed back to back, they might do another Boxing Day drop.
I felt like the season was just a rehash of Season 1

A disappointing ending to a disappointing second season (the beginning and middle parts of the season were good though). I just hope the final season wraps things up decently compared to this season's ending.

The finale of Season 2 makes no sense. And also their moral compass is all over the place… sure let's sacrifice the poor weak contestants, but let's not kill the strong bad contestants and leave them alone with all the weak contestants. There was nobody to protect them, so why not kill the bad guys to make sure they won't be killed when they are gone lol. I also don't understand how they even supported that plan, what was the goal? To talk?

I just finished the second season. I liked it a lot. Obviously it doesn't capture the experience of season 1, but it was still enjoyable. I wish we got one more episode for this season because it definitely ended abruptly.

I'm assuming it will pick up where it left off with the remaining players for the last three games. I hope there won't be a time skip. I can't wait to see Seong's reaction when he finds out Young Il/001 is actually the guy in the black hood. That's going to be a good scene.

A trans action hero is lowkey eye-conic, I couldn't believe my eyes lol. 

 

I enjoyed it, I liked all the parts IN THE GAMES, but god the detective parts are so damn boring I could not care less.

 

Mingle was great, the other game pissed me off because it just felt so random and 5 minutes was so short that it really made the moments when named characters won feel a little too convenient, like the way the trans girl's team managed to arrive at the last game/discuss/win AND cross the finish line in like, what, 15 seconds total? That momentarily took me out of it haha.
