Hector Posted November 10, 2022 Posted November 10, 2022 Cheddar once again did incredible in this episode of Cheddar's Drag Race Had a great runway and was funny in the challenge. Well deserved win though Danny would have been deserving but not as deserving as Cheddar. She really is the one to beat this season, as of now the Crown is hers. Pixie should have been bottom 2 instead of Jonbers (Ru raving about her look made me think he'd save Jonbers instead). The lipsync was incredible and Peepa and Jonbers both killed it. I'd have given Peppa the solo shantay as hers was better than Jonbers. Also hearing Booty Luv's Some Kinda Rush after so many years, what an underrated late 2000s bop

NumbSoul Posted November 10, 2022 Posted November 10, 2022 That was... a cute episode. The acting challenges just really aren't it anymore. I mean, the girls all did fine, but it just wasn't funny. I think the judging was fair. Win could've gone to Danny too, but Cheddar made sense as well. The lipsync was nice. Peppa usually does the most, but it kinda worked here. As much as I like Jonbers and am more intrigued by her than Pixie, she could've gone. I mean, it's between Danny and Cheddar anyway. Not really a point in forcefully keeping the other girls, but oh well. I think the roast next week might make it more interesting, so I'm kinda excited

I have no hate for her I just don't get the storyline here. I feel like Cheddar is gonna win because both this week and last week they could have given the win to either Cheddar or Dany and they gave it to Cheddar both times. Not that she isn't deserving and I think I'd probably have done the same but it shows who is being pushed more I think. I think maybe because UK hasn't had a "kooky" winner yet and Cheddar always was a huge name in uk drag. Tbh I thought Pixie did great and her runway was fine, I think she only got negative critiques to make the bottom two seem less obvious. Jonbers and Peppa just can't compete with the other three in this kind of challenge. Feel really bad for Peppa that it's another comedy challenge next week though. Maybe she'll pull through but she really needed a ball or another shot at something more performance oriented I think.
Yawn Posted November 10, 2022 Posted November 10, 2022 this season really flatlined and badly the completion is entirely dead besides danny and cheddar. black peppa was clearly supposed to be the winner but she’s tanked so hard in anything that isn’t performing and she isn’t even serving in the lip syncs now. pixie and jonbers have long overstayed their welcome. the audacity for pixie to be saying dakota shouldn’t have gone and implying it should have been jonbers, when PIXIE was the one in the bottom alongside dakota, NOT jonbers.

Acting challenges should just be retired altogether along with Snatch Game. She also won the lipsync. Black Peppa was doing the most, as usual.

Both Sides Now Posted November 11, 2022 Posted November 11, 2022 I hate acting challenges. I had the episode on in the background while I worked. Painfully unfunny. They are dragging Black Peppa to the finale no matter what There hasn’t been a single week since week 1 that she has done better than average. It was odd to hear Ru praise her looks because they almost always have fit issues. The promo look really gaslit us. The lip-sync was decent. Jonbers was actually quite tight on the words but Peppa matched the energy better. Again, Peppa’s lip syncing style is sloppy and uncontrolled. Half of her tricks are just throwing her body around like a rag doll. Vanity Milan would’ve devoured Some Kinda Rush. It’s been painfully obvious that only Danny or Cheddar have a chance to win so the double shantay was useless. Production shot themselves in the foot by needlessly booting Dakota, coming down overly harsh on Baby and ignoring Le Fil. Any one of them would’ve made a decent dark horse for the finale. They had too much faith in Black Peppa and should’ve called it for her weeks ago. Jonbers still being here is a kii. I low-key find him charming and funny now especially when he admitted to doing mediocre. She’s actually had more high moments than Peppa, and is more likeable than Pixie.

I didn’t find her snatch game bad but it wasn’t funny, same with this challenge. Her makeover was great though. However, Danny’s wins have been super deserved in the sense that they are objectively great moments and not just “better than the others” which is how I feel some of Cheddar’s performance thus far has been. Jonbers is charming, I agree, but her or Peppa really should have been gone at this point. I keep forgetting Peppa is even there… Pixie however I WISH I could forget is there she’s always gotta make a big stink though so there’s no tuning her out

Have you seen the photoshoots they do with each eliminated queen? It’s kinda weird. I really find them very robotic and imo Danny not only should’ve won this challenge but the season too. But it seems like Ru just loves Cheddar.

Roberto Posted November 11, 2022 Posted November 11, 2022 Honestly, I'm shocked how affected the queens were with Dakota leaving the competition (Peppa was the only one not really sad or didn't make it so evident like the other ones), especially Danny and Pixie and how they came for Jonbers savagely. Truly a bad decision from Ru, considering she might have done well in this challenge. That being said, I'm ok with either Danny or Cheddar winning the competition, Cheddar's drag is very cool and different and Danny won me back after being so sad for Dakota's elimination. Honestly, relatable.
