This game is incredible - how have you guys had the time to finish the game / main story? I’m like 20 hours in and feel like I’ve barely scratched the surface :deadbanana4: but I have been doing the side quests to really get the full experience of the game.

So far the game has certainly met expectations. Combat is pretty good too.

I also love how well they’ve created a new story and characters, yet the game feels so close and familiar to the movies. E.g. I just did the side quest to go into the abandoned area in the herbology classroom, and seeing things like the devils snare took me right back to the first movie.

I could go on, but I’ll come back and post my final thoughts after i finish the game.

I'm taking my sweet time I love being in the world so much :alexz3:

I just read PC has some incredible mods like having a companion follow you everywhere and fight with you??:jonny5:

I finished the game and I will play again but this time on pc. There so many good mods already. However, I am busy with school right now. So I just wait until my semester is done or wait until winter break I am sure by then there will be even more mods. I can see this game being Skyrim 2.0 on mod active community. If the developers don’t plan to do any dlcs then the fans will take over the game and make it better and add new stuff endlessly.

It would be funny to see a graph showing how much sex millennials were having before and after this game was released.

Almost 100%'d it as a Ravenclaw, only some revelio pages and collection chests in Hogwarts left :jonny:

Then I need to play the exclusive quests for Gryffindor, Slytherin and Hufflepuff for the platinum trophy.

i'm enjoying taking my time with this. it feels never ending but in a good way. i'd love to see some dlc as well. quidditch definitely seems like it could be its own thing and diagon alley would be fun to explore. as for warner bros announcing a harry potter tv series i would definitely watch if it was more in the vein of the game. i've been pleasantly surprised with how dark this game goes at times. an adult fantasy show set in this world would be fantastic.

I still haven't finished it. I finished Sebastian's side story and then lost interest. :deadbanana4:

there are so many things to do :lmao:

Also the map looks so beautiful in winter :cries:  same for autumn :cries:

Alright, just finished the game mostly.

Main story was pretty cute, but if I'm being honest I felt the Sebastian quests were more interesting and overshadowed it at times :rip: In saying that, with the exception of Sebastian, a lot of the other side quests and characters (poppy, natsai etc) I found rather bland and uninteresting

I also think the game could of benefitted from a better main villain, or maybe the bar was just too high with Voldemort.

The world is beautiful, but can get redundant at times (scenery, puzzles, lack of enemy variation).

Overall loved it though and definitely worth the wait. I'm certain that there will be DLC in future, they've spent so much time on the world, how could they not?

Any word when the xbox one version will be released?

I haven't been reading too much into this thread because I haven't finished the game yet, but I am enjoying the game a lot. It's already one of my favorite RPG's I've ever played and it's already in the running for GOTY for me. My only gripe is that the achievement system for the game is frustrating. I don't want to have to replay the game and reach the Map Chamber as every other house just to get all the trophies. :rip:

My favorite character is Ominis Gaunt so far. He's one of my favorite characters in the entire franchise now.

:heart2: I hope the developers allow us to have companions in a future update.

Does endgame feel kinda pointless after you finish all quests?

Like I don't feel any desire to explore the world obliterating enemies in 5 seconds and endlessly doing Merlin trials.

What exactly is there to do that's somewhat challenging or engaging? I don't have any desire to upgrade gear because my character already feels pretty overpowered as is, most exploring achievements and other challenges I've completed or are not particularly interesting. Room of requirement is a nice touch, but I've lost interest in playing the Sims since my teenage years :rip:

This game died really quick didn;t it :rip:

The fact that I can't get XP for whatever I do is really killing any desire to play.

I'm not interested in hunting down the final balloons or landing platforms for the last bit of XP.

im in the same position

ive completed the main quest and Sebastian’s questline

i know that there’s so many side quests I have left to do but i don’t feel motivated to do them at all and haven’t touched the game in a week

dont get me wrong i still LOVEEE the game but wow maybe i shouldn’t have finished the main quest so early, it’s my own fault :rip: it all feels pointless now

I still have 9% of collectables left to find and I literally don't know where to look anymore. Flying around smashing the "Revelio!" button every 20 seconds is getting real old. :rip:

That’s because hogwarts legacy lacks real end game content like rpg features like from Skyrim or Witcher 3.

The story is cool but once you’re down with the main quest and side quest there isn’t much else to do.

if you were allowed to truly merge yourself in the world things would be different.

Yeah I kind of feel the same, just finished the main storyline this week and also the Sebastian/Natty/Poppy storylines, but I don't really care about finishing the rest.

I do think it's an amazing game though and I really enjoyed it, and if there's a sequel/expansion with new storylines/quests/spells to learn I would definitely get it. I really took my time with it, exploring and looking around and did side quests in between any main quests, so I've ended up doing most of them anyway. I might finish them, but I'm definitely not going for 100% and doing all the map stuff. :rip:

Yuh i agree with all of this :rip: My hype originally made me go HL > BOTW, but now i'm not so sure.

BOTW has a much more entertaining "end game", but i still do think HL does a lot of things better than BOTW. So it's hard to rank them rn.

It's still one of my fave games on all time tho.

ive restarted with a different house (slytherin) because it was just getting tiring riding round on a broom for hours trying to find sidequests after completing the main story :rip: it was like being fed scraps.

now ive restarted tho i remember how ANNOYING it was not being able to fly a broom straight away :skull:

Got the platinum last week :gaycat4:

I need DLC soon :gaycat6:

I agree with everyone here saying that it gets pointless once you've beaten all the main and side quests and done most of the challenges. I've 100%ed Combat, Quests, and Field Guide Pages and did most of everything else, so it really died at the end for me. However, the journey and the game itself was so worth it and Sir Sebastian :smitten2: the high school boyfriend I never had

And like others have said

F**K THAT HOUSE ELF PENNY HOW DARE SHE
