The plot centers around the fictional city of Brookfield Heights, Michigan, within which emerges a cult of killers whose leader is Kai Anderson, a manipulative psychopath who begin pursuing political power in the wake of the 2016 U.S Presidential Election. He recruits several people to become member of his cult, including his sister Winter, reporter Beverly Hope, and others, in order to terrorize the townspeople as a way of climbing into positions of power, such as member of the city council.

Watched 1984 for the first time yesterday/today and it was better than I expected it to be. (Though, to be fair, I did expect it to be really bad - hence why I avoided it for so long).

 

The plot twists are what saved the season from being an utter mess, in my opinion. Didn't see most of the coming. I also really loved Mr. Jingels' backstory and how they handled it. A very nice character development. Angelica Ross also killed it, loved having her on screen - especially in the second half of the season.

 

Can't wait to see what season 11 is about.

was sooo turned off by the final episode of Red Tide that I didn't even bother to watch the Death Valley one. I was sooo pissed, it was doing sooooo good and promising :deadbanana4: hopefully AHS11 do it right.

I actually don't know what's taking them so long w revealing the theme. They've never waited this long, even with season 6 which was the "surprise" season, they were already releasing teasers / promos by now. I guess the spinoff, Horror Stories, really has them hoping it will tie ppl over while waiting for the main show. Either that, or they're scrambling and trying to get as much footage as possible filmed, bc of how poorly received the second five episodes of last season were. like I still to this day can't believe they had 2 years to get it together and STILL fumbled the bag :skull:
