BeachRat Posted October 5, 2023 Posted October 5, 2023 they’ve actually done a pretty good job with making me feel stressed / disturbed / angry all the time while watching this. is feels like a paranoid fever dream. (still camp tho, so not to be taken seriously)
Musicmajor Posted October 5, 2023 Posted October 5, 2023 I just finished the new episode and i am getting tired of the 'whats real and whats a hallucination' thing. I want the next episode to really move things along but overall still a solid season. Also, nice to see MJ Rodriguez! 3
Leptine Posted October 5, 2023 Posted October 5, 2023 Watched the first two episodes (going to watch the third asap), at the end Kim Kardashian has been the best thing of this season, I never been worried about her casting like I said the script has always been the issue of this show in the last years rather than the cast, however she has been better than I expected, they gave it to her a very fitting role, being a publicist handling an Oscar campaign with precursors and stuff it's the most interesting dynamic of this season. Honestly I really don't care about the horror-pregancy thing of this season, a limited realistic serie about the stress of an actress dealing with an Oscar campaign would have been much more interesting for me, it's the best part of this season. Overall these first two episodes were really enjoyable, we'll see for the rest but I'm ready for the mess as usual. 1

Kh-Loud Posted October 5, 2023 Posted October 5, 2023 The way the husband has that smiley expression in every scene qksjjw but he’s very very cute, in a daddy kind of way!
Diet Pepsi Posted October 5, 2023 Posted October 5, 2023 the universal acclaim for queen Kim give her all the f***ing Globes
UnderratedVocalist Posted October 6, 2023 Posted October 6, 2023 So I think I've pretty much figured the plot. I think her husband, Kim, the doctor and those other artsy celebs are in the satanic cult and want to impregnate her with the anti-Christ. They are setting everything up to make her paranoid and mentally unstable so that the 'demon?' can easily access her and take over, a la Hereditary. And that old lady and Cara's character are the 'good' guys that are trying to warn her about it, managed to kill the baby but the cult resurrected it some how. That's why Cara's character has the same scar as her, she was probably a victim of the cult herself. I wouldn't be surprised if they connected this season to Apocalypse and Murder House, with the same Satanic cult trying to find the new 'womb' to carry Satan's child. Maybe, they are trying to summon her husband's ex wife to take over Emma's body so that she can have sex with him (like Murder House, sex with a human and ghost = Anti Christ).
WERKER Posted October 6, 2023 Posted October 6, 2023 These episodes are too short and this episode also lacked any substance. I understand we're adding extra periods of "hallucinations", and "false sense of reality" to the episodes to add more backstory, but nothing actually happened in those thirty five minutes. Anna saw a woman in the woods, fell asleep in the basement and then went to the pharmacy. That's all that happened Really lacked the realism and unnerving nature the previous two episodes had. 2 1
barbiegrande Posted October 7, 2023 Posted October 7, 2023 Casting Emma Roberts as an Oscar worthy actress is so shady 4
justin. Posted October 8, 2023 Posted October 8, 2023 I'm going to be honest.. the season started out interesting, but I feel like we've watched the same episode 3 times now. 4
