Venus XCX Posted September 30, 2023 Posted September 30, 2023 Emma's faces during her convo with that other actress on the red carpet making her feel old was HILARIOUS, and Kim telling her she's got a face like a cat's ass and she should work at Costco
Daddy Posted September 30, 2023 Posted September 30, 2023 Very into this season already. But I also enjoyed NYC for what it was. It's looking very Gone Girl-ish. Very polished, cold and empty - fits the story so far.
Pendulum Posted September 30, 2023 Posted September 30, 2023 this is kinda eating help ?? Kim K's acting left me pleasantly surprised 1
Hurem Posted September 30, 2023 Posted September 30, 2023 Episode 2 was better than ep 1. The scene where she was accepting an award was top notch. This still has many flaws though. Still feels very generic and something we've seen already, Emma's husband is a horrible actor, who casted Cara is still a mystery and Kim's character is interesting only because it's Kim. She's literally being herself so I don't see why people pretend she's a good actress? Promo for episode 3 looks very nice, can't wait to watch it.
Pendulum Posted October 1, 2023 Posted October 1, 2023 I binge re-watched Apocalypse and I've arrived at the conclusion that it is the best season the way in which it intertwines with Muder House, Coven and Hotel is immaculate mm 1 2
WildAmerican Posted October 2, 2023 Posted October 2, 2023 you just know kim's about to serve whenever she's behind that desk yelling at emma
WildAmerican Posted October 2, 2023 Posted October 2, 2023 idk why but this season so far gives shot-during-COVID. Like small scenes with only a few people, small scope, etc.. I'm kinda liking the intimate approach, but it just feels very different from the other more expansive seasons.

I honestly think its intentional. The whole series so far seems quite eerie and clinical. Cold grayscale imagery, muted colours - lack of bold colours other than the use of red. The first two episodes lacked "horror" imagery and I think its because they're using the pain of infertility, miscarriage and hysteria to speak for its self at the beginning. 1
Musicmajor Posted October 4, 2023 Posted October 4, 2023 I just finished episode 2 and im loving it. It's intriguing and im honestly enjoying Kim's performance in this!
Lyrica Posted October 4, 2023 Posted October 4, 2023 I haven't watched AHS since Hotel but I am enjoying this. The vibes are relaxing but not snoozefest. It gets your attention
