i really enjoyed the book but i was skeptical how it would translate into an AHS season (the book is a slow burn ‘descent into madness’ type of psychological horror) but i think it’s well done so far…not sure how they’re gonna drag it out for 8 more eps tho

yeah, you're thinking of Billie Lourd's episode in the first season of AHStories, I don't remember the name of the episode but it kinda does feel like the same thing with a woman not being able to get pregnant and resorting to other methods that just make her hallucinate and see some weird sh*t.

I only watched the 1984 season in full and some other clips from older seasons and they all had a certain "spooky" aura. This season seems completely different and too normal for AHS. The twitter lingo doesn't help either.

No but seriously are they going to keep building up till the finale and going to give us nothing? There is literally no conclusion in both episodes and no new information.  Kim kinda surprised me she is a decent actress even better than Emma and the way emma had so many scandals lately I can not even relate or get sad about her character.

 

Also I have this idea maybe her husband and his sister and all of them trying to bring back his old wife using Emma's body? Idk it felt like a good plot twist on my head

They should focus on appealing to GP instead of stan twitter. The obvious downgrade on the quality is really sad to witness.

SO frustrating not having this stream in the UK yet but I found a way to watch the first two episodes.

 

I know I'm a Emma Stan but either I'm delulu but I'm really invested?! I think Emma's giving a really strong performance and its believable and I know these pregnant paranoid characters are never popular i.e. Vivian and the wife from Red Tide but I'm finding this season so creepy and eerie.

 

Kim's doing good too sweetie, I like her performance. The character was right for her.

 

The scenes for the award show were very well done and the whole scene in the hospital at the end of E2 made me feel so uneasy, I don't know if it's because I have people close to me who have miscarried in the past, or the fact of the stalker "Ivy" causing the miscarriage but it has freaked me out a bit

The award show scene with the woman in the bathroom had such a lynch feel to it, no wonder his daughter directed it
