I stopped watching after they did that amazing vampire season and they came back after break with B&W Aliens I was DONE after the first episode of that

absolutely this, I was felt like something would always captivate me with the premieres in the past, but none here last night. We’ll have to see.

 

Kim is evidently very much serving her “purpose”- which is to deliver her lines (abrupt at times) and get the storyline moving along I guess, an assistant.

I liked it! Not scary but there's this air of mystery and uneasiness that simmers throughout the episode and makes me want to keep watching.

I'm actually pleased with Kim's acting, she didn't have to do too much as the character is basically herself with a real job but she didn't lose her personality which many non-actors tend to do when venturing into acting. I'm definitely keen to see if she's able to up the ante as the season progresses.

you can really tell that its based on a book because it was basically the first chapter where nothing much happens. we get to learn a lot about how the character feels in the first part of the book before things go off the rails and it didn't translate well. but the potential is there. also the opening credits are some of their best ones yet.

Kim is getting very good reviews.. heck even better reviews than Emma’s acting..

Not y'all being so mesmerized with this generic mess of an episode. It looked like an AI was asked to write an AHS pilot. It could literally not get any more basic than this.

 

AHS needs to stick with seasons set back in the past, those are always better than the ones set in current times.
