It looks really average

 

The cinematography seems pretty mid and it seems obvious all the bad stuff is Emma's character hallucinating or having a nightmare. It looks like a trailer for a low budget horror film on Hulu instead of a series. IDK, it just feels like it is missing something, that extra 'x-factor' that AHS used to have.

Tbh she's not bad! This is some AHS: Hotel Countess level of acting and look how good that went for Gaga. 

 

I expect her to explore more acting in the future.
