#SG2 Posted August 27 Posted August 27 Season 4 started with a banger! can't wait for more episodes! We're so back!! 4
swiftsummer13 Posted August 28 Posted August 28 The premiere was incredible! Can't wait to see what's next, I love how dark it's been getting. 2
Uncatena Posted August 28 Posted August 28 promising first episode. they somehow keep making it interesting. 2
ATRL Moderator Ampersand13 Posted August 28 ATRL Moderator Posted August 28 I thought that was a brilliant premiere 3
Fading Posted August 28 Posted August 28 It looks like it will be the best season since the first one 1
Falconr3 Posted August 28 Posted August 28 The ending was traumatizing. Charles finding Sazz's remains. 1
Aston Martin Posted August 29 Posted August 29 Great first episode, especially the ending. Here's to hoping they don't make the same mistake as the last season and keep a majority of the actual episodes and plot focused on solving the murder. Spoiler Upon rewatch I noticed that right after the power outage at the beginning of the episode, Oliver says that that hasn't happened since "they banned using the incinerator" or something like that. Knowing now what was actually happening at that moment is ******* bone chilling 7
publikcitizen Posted August 29 Posted August 29 I've been trying to come up with a theory of who k Spoiler who killed Sazz but I can't lol. One thing though, it definitely was a professional hit job. I bet the S4 killer will be the Moriarty for the show.
YourFavoriteWeapon Posted August 30 Posted August 30 How is Selena's line delivery compared to last season? I thought she was (mostly) great in the first season, decent (but occasionally kinda bad) in the second, and absolutely dire in the third where her froggy voice was at it's worst

They mention it in the trailer I believe. 1

Cardcaptor Sakura Posted September 1 Posted September 1 Such a strong episode one. Love all of their dynamics. Also great new characters. 1
ATRL Moderator Ampersand13 Posted September 1 ATRL Moderator Posted September 1 I know people have criticized Selena’s performance, and it’s not unwarranted, but I think she actually embodies the character quite well. Last season I thought her voice/line delivery was just how she talked but now I think it’s more of a choice. I was thinking about why I didn’t mind her performance (especially amongst so many standouts) until I realized it’s kind of the perfect balance to the actors who are much more eccentric. I’m not saying she’s giving us the most layered or nuanced turn but there’s a reason it works. At least, for me 4

Charles and Oliver overdo it, she's needed. there's so many critics that see it and say it btw 2
Aston Martin Posted September 3 Posted September 3 Spoiler Tap in Okay this is way better than last season, the plot's actually moving along, the three of them are actually solving a ******* murder, and it's so much darker this time around. Spoiler Jan's appearance seemed a tad one note but I was happy to see her again. Glad we got a callback to the Arconia passageways (which makes Charles seem in even more danger). And I'm guessing Da'Vine was fresh off her Oscar win when this was filmed, so it was great to see her again as always 4

At least, for me The fact that people still don't understand the she is the straight man character to Charles and Oliver... Episode 2 was one of the best they've done in a while. If the season keeps up this quality, we might get the best season since the first one! 1
Hector Posted September 4 Posted September 4 Very good second episode too. This show is just always consistently great 1

I thought the biggest mistakes in S3 were : 1. Oliver not being part of the investigation and missing a lot of jokes 2. Oliver Being in love and too serious 3. The dead man being COMPLETELY unlikable

I remember reading somewhere that they only planned to do 5 seasons when this started. Wonder if that's still the plan?
