Seems like it, as Bayer Leverkusen ran Bayern ragged 3-nil Saturday to put Leverkusen up 5 points in the table. Bayern not winning the bundes after Kane went there would be hilarious
JGibson Posted March 10 Author Posted March 10 Arsenal, with their 2-1 win over Brentford, temporarily go on top, pending tomorrow's Liverpool v. Manchester City game.
JGibson Posted March 10 Author Posted March 10 Liverpool and Manchester City share the spoils, as they drew 1-1 and gain a point apiece. This result keeps Arsenal on top of the table with 64 points, as their goal differential is +46 compared to the Reds +39. Easter Sunday is shaping up to be a big date in the Premier League title race, as Arsenal face Manchester City at the Etihad. Arsenal is ahead of Man City by a point. None of Arsenal, Manchester City, or Liverpool will be playing PL contests next weekend, as they and/or their scheduled opponents are playing in the FA Cup. Table: 1 ARS 64 [+46] 2 LIV 64 [+39] 3 MCI 63 [+35]
JGibson Posted March 13 Author Posted March 13 Arsenal are off to the last 8, as they win on penalties 4-2 over Porto after leveling on aggregate 1-1. Declan Rice scored the winner from the spot, and David Raya saved two big penalties. For the first time since 2010, we're in the UCL quarters.
JGibson Posted March 31 Author Posted March 31 Arsenal walk out of the Etihad with a point, as they drew the defending champions Manchester City nil-nil. Liverpool will be top of the table, as they beat Brighton 2-1 earlier.
Narima Posted April 1 Posted April 1 I'll be rooting for Liverpool to win the league since I like Klopp and it's his last season
JGibson Posted April 13 Author Posted April 13 Bayer Leverkusen may be on the verge of stopping Bayern Munich's 11-season run in the Bundesliga of winning the league, assuming they win this weekend.
JGibson Posted April 14 Author Posted April 14 Neverkusen no more! After 11 years, the Bundesliga title will be residing at a place other than the Allianz, as Leverkusen win it.
JGibson Posted April 14 Author Posted April 14 Arsenal embarrassed themselves and hurt their title hopes with their 2-0 capitulation to Aston Villa. This is their first PL loss since the blown 1-0 lead to Fulham in which they lost 2-1 on NYE. Manchester City now have the top spot.

Sis where's the crying session lemme pull up I thought that after last year nothing could get to me but today... ugh. We had, again, and lost it. I have no faith anymore And don't have much faith in the UCL too so
Narima Posted April 14 Posted April 14 Congrats to Leverkusen and Xabi Crazy how they still haven't lost a match this season
Green Posted April 17 Posted April 17 Semifinals: Dortmund - PSG Real Madrid - Bayern Real Madrid eliminating Manchester City in penalties Haaland is useless at the big games
JGibson Posted April 18 Author Posted April 18 Arsenal lose to Bayern 3-2 on aggregate. Manchester City lose to Real Madrid 4-3 on penalties after drawing 4-4 on aggregate. England's hopes for an extra UCL spot are fading fast.
Drowned8World Posted May 8 Posted May 8 bye PissG. Bayern should take some notes and serve some masterclass tomorrow.
JGibson Posted May 9 Author Posted May 9 Bayern had a good goal robbed on a questionable offside whistle in which it would have leveled it late in stoppage time. More proof the refs are sucking off Real Madrid.
Green Posted May 9 Posted May 9 Real Madrid robbing Bayern (again) The Final has 0 excitement. Everyone knows who will win between Dortmund and Real Madrid
JGibson Posted May 11 Author Posted May 11 Hoping Manchester City drop points at least once (likely either the Fulham or Spurs game) and Arsenal win both remaining fixtures so that the Gunners win the Premier League.
JGibson Posted May 13 Author Posted May 13 Praying for a Sp*rs win or a draw Tuesday so that Arsenal have a chance to win the title. As a Gooner, this feels dirty to type out. It'll be weird rooting for our biggest historical rival just to stop 115 Charges FC.
JGibson Posted May 14 Author Posted May 14 Sad day. Manchester City beat Tottenham 2-0, need a win on Sunday to win it 4 in a row. Now, Arsenal need to win against Everton and that Manchester City drop points to West Ham to win the Premier League title Sunday.
JGibson Posted May 18 Author Posted May 18 Leverkusen finish the Bundesliga season unbeaten, as they beat Augsburg 2-1. 2 more games to go for a full season unbeaten record.
JGibson Posted May 19 Author Posted May 19 Arsenal did their part to push Manchester City to the title, but they fell short by 2 points. Manchester City beat West Ham 3-1 and Arsenal win 2-1 over Everton, good enough for 115 Charges FC to win 4 straight PL championships. We came up short this season, but next season will hopefully be our time to win the Premier League title. The 5 dropped points to Fulham from winning positions, home loss to West Ham, Newcastle away VAR robbery, and losses to Aston Villa doomed us.
