I feel the same way. Several weeks ago, it felt like Arsenal were gonna win it all or least force it to MW38. Seeing then choke it away is so maddening; on the other hand, Arsenal exceeded expectations that most people had them a fringe Top 4 team at best.

With Brighton beating Southampton 3-1, they have qualified for European football for the first time in their history. They will likely be in the UEL.

Borussia Dortmund take a 2-point lead in the Bundesliga table after the 33rd matchweek, as they beat Augsburg 3-nil. This is in conjunction with yesterday's Bayern 3-1 loss to RB Leipzig

i was rooting hard for Arsenal because i wanted Messi to take that Ballon D'or easily but now it will be difficult to ignore Haaland's season :noparty: the way they lost all those easy matches :gaycat6:

In the Premier League, the Top 6 is set.

Manchester City, Arsenal, Manchester United, and Newcastle will be headed to the Champions League, while Liverpool and Brighton are headed to the Europa League.

The UECL spot and the last survival spot are the races left to watch on Sunday.

I'm so tired of MCity, Inter better win the final, Lautaro in you, I trust.

With Dortmund drawing Mainz 2-2 and Bayern's 2-1 win over Köln, the Bundesliga title will stay parked at the Allianz for the 11th year in a row. Dortmund pulled an Arsenal in choking the title.

The final Premier League place for next season is now booked, as Luton Town won the EFL Championship Promotion Playoff Final 1-1 [6-5] on penalties over Coventry City.

The Premier League season has wrapped up for 2022/23.

The Top 4 are Manchester City, Arsenal, Manchester United, and Newcastle, who will be in the UCL. The UEL participants will be Liverpool and Brighton.

Aston Villa clinches the UECL spot, sending Tottenham home without a European trip.

As for the relegation race, Everton blanked Bournemouth 1=0 to stay up. Leicester City beat West Ham 2-1, but fell short. Leeds got spanked by Tottenham 4-1 to join Leicester in being relegated with Southampton.

Over in Germany, Heidenheim got promoted to the Bundesliga for the first time ever with two stoppage time goals by coming back from a 2-nil deficit against Jahn Regensburg in the 2. Bundesliga to win 3-2. Darmstadt also got promoted. Hamburg will have to settle for a playoff game against Stuttgart for the right to be in the Bundesliga.

Sevilla win the UEL over Roma 1-1 [4-1] on penalties.

Stuttgart maintain their Bundesliga place, as they beat Hamburger SV as they beat them 6-1 on aggregate in the 2-legged playoff between the 16th-placed Bundesliga team and 3rd-placed 2. Bundesliga team.

This just adds to the cruel fate that HSV have faced over the past week-plus, when they thought they would get promoted to the BuLi automatically... only for Heidenheim to ruin those plans by scoring the 2 stoppage time goals to get them promoted instead.

Messi coming to the United States is huge for the growth of MLS and for the popularity of football in America ahead of 2026 World Cup

Messi going to USA and Benzema to Saudi. Football is over I fear

West Ham beat 2-1 over Fiorentina to win the Europa Conference League, thanks to Jarrod Bowen's last-minute goal in the 90th minute.

And with that news, England will have 8 teams in European football next season (4 UCL, 3 UEL, 1 UECL). Spain will also have 8 teams (5 UCL, 2 UEL, 1 UECL) next year as a result of Sevilla's UEL win.

Manchester City won the Champions League final :rip:

I think football might be over. All of these Russian oligarchs & Arab oil states have ruined this sport. Chelsea were nothing until they were purchased by Putin’s puppet Roman Abramovich in 2004. Manchester City were nothing until they were purchased by the United Arab Emirates in 2008. City have spent the past 15 years using financial doping and breaking every Financial Fair Play (FFP) rule to get to where they’re at today. I’m not clapping.

And now the Saudi’s are giving the likes of Benzema & Kante over 100 million PER YEAR just to play in their league.

It’s just too much.

And it’s been 1 month but I’m still devastated that my Arsenal bottled the league within the final weeks of the season :rip: 8 months spent at the top of the table for nothing. Wow.

They would need to change the whole team  :rip:

Messi chose the worst team of the MLS  :skull: Maybe he should have gone to Arabia instead (more money and better team) but he and his family obviously prefer to live in Miami.
