JGibson Posted May 26 Author Posted May 26 Manchester United beat Manchester City 2-1 in the FA Cup Final, meaning that they'll be in Europe in the Europa League despite finishing 8th in the Premier League. As a result, Chelsea heads to the UEFA Conference League and Newcastle misses Europe completely. Also, Manchester United will play Manchester City in the FA Community Shield to kick off next season. Bayer Levekusen finish their domestic season undefeated with a 1-nil win over Kaiserslautern in the DFB Pokal Final.

JGibson Posted August 2 Author Posted August 2 The hits just keep on coming for Bordeaux, and not in a good way. They are down to the 4th tier of French football. The club were already relegated to the 3rd tier. https://worldsoccertalk.com/news/bordeaux-relegated-twice-in-one-week-this-time-to-fourth-tier/
JGibson Posted August 30 Author Posted August 30 The UCL pot teams are out: Pot 1: Pot 2: Pot 3: Pot 4: With the move to league play instead of the traditional group stage, each team plays 8 random teams not in their own confederation, 2 from each pot. The top 8 teams advance to the Round of 16, while teams 9-24 will play in a 2-legged playoff to advance to the round of 16 (with 9-16 seeded and 17-24 unseeded). Teams 25-36 will be done completely, as their is no demotion to UEL option by finishing in 3rd in the group.
JGibson Posted September 1 Author Posted September 1 Leverkusen unbeaten in domestic play no more, as RB Leipzig beat Bayer Leverkusen 3-2 after being down 2-0.
JGibson Posted September 16 Author Posted September 16 No Ødegaard, No Rice, No Problem. Arsenal beat Sp*rs 1-nil, as Gabriel Magalhães scored the lone goal to give the Gunners a vital win and 3 points.
JGibson Posted September 22 Author Posted September 22 10-men Arsenal cruelly dropped two points and a chance at 1st place at the Etihad, as they drew Manchester City 2-2, thanks to John Stones's stoppage time leveler. This could cost the Gunners the title. With the Gunners playing 10 the entire 2nd, it was a miracle to even get a point.

I started watching during the last 20 minutes and City was on Arsenal's neck the whole time. It's like when you watch Real Madrid o Leverkusen and they are losing. You KNOW a goal or 2 are coming. Not matter how bad they are playing or how many minutes they have left.
