Just kidding hihihi But anyways... Praying they start working on Sims 5 IMMEDIATELY and fix all those bugs on the base game alone. I mean, when you add all these different expansion packs, it makes sense it will clash with other data in their coding from other packs and mismatches. Even Sims 2 had bugs, but nothing that would crash the game. The less expansion packs that offer more things, the better it is for your game not to break! The fact we got new Sims franchise every 4 to 5 years, but now... Edited December 18, 2024 by Bloodflowers.
Bloodflowers. Posted December 18, 2024 Posted December 18, 2024 WaiT. This game pack thingy kinda eats It's very original! I will be adding this to my list of packs I will buy if I decide to get Sims 4 next year! 1

So I say if you didn't dip in yet, may as well wait for those inevitable sales. Vampires is extremely good tho. Truly a new standard of what a supernatural life state in The Sims can be. I just noticed Seasons is currently 60% off and is on sale for 16 bucks which is still too much, like I said earlier, I am not wasting over 10 euros for a expansion in this economy How often are these packs getting cheap sales and what is the lowest they got till now? Like stuff pack, expansions and this new game stuff deal? As for vampires, I don't like supernatural stuff. I prefer realism. I also don't wanna get Sims 3 Supernatural but I also want to download worlds from other Simmers so I figure I would need it in order to get full complete functioning world Also Lovestruck sounds like s**t but I love the world and appartments that come with it,so I figure if I can buy it for cheap price, I will but since it's still newer game, I don't see that happening anytime soon either. Same with Snowy Escape, that is the only vacation-ish pack I find appealing, but overall vacation packs aren't my thing either but I love snowboarding and overall Japan aesthetics

Sims 4 Seasons is...well, it doesn't have a world, smallest Build/Buy collection out of all the $40 USD expansions and they haven't added any new holiday traditions since 2018 (there's 40 total). It was fun back in 2018 but I can't say it really adds much to sims' life stories. Like LGR said about Sims 2 Pets, "this video ended about everything other than the pets". Snowy Escape is low key a really well rounded DLC that gives me a lot of Sims 1 vibes. If you don't conform to the lifestyle your sims develop, they will actually be miserable. The new job has extreme work hours. Also has exclusive sentiments sims can develop. Sentiments are crazy, just like Sims 2 Fury system. 1

They deadass made a Laundry Day stuff pack. I- The worst part is, I actually like it, but 7 euros for something that they should've squeezed in with other expansions instead of making it a standalone pack is truly bizzare Also they are currently selling Dating Out 4 packs for one pack collection. The fact we got new Sims franchise every 4 to 5 years, but now... Girl just illegally download it tbh. I can guarantee you, even with the best packs, you'll get insanely bored out of your mind after two hours of gameplay. Loading screens every time you chose to leave the lot, constant rabbit hole buildings, several gameplay systems that clash against one another, bad Sim AI. The only good thing in the Sims 4 is the build mode but playing a glorified interior design game? It's the most fun you'll have but even that gets boring after a while. 1
SupremeGoddess Posted December 19, 2024 Posted December 19, 2024 Actually the only good way to enjoy the Sims 4 is by having an active career or business and living in the same building you work in. I used to own an Art Gallery, and I would make my sim live there. I'd just be close for business and make her sleep and eat there lol then i'd open the business. It was the only way I could interact with several sims, enjoy gameplay without having loading screens in between or annoying system bugs happening FYI all the patches and fixes put together have more GB than base game by itself 1

In 2017 they made a bunch of polls for a fan created DLC. That DLC? Laundry Day. This is what the fans wanted. Apparently.

I know, I watched LTR video review on that pack The thing is, it's a cute gaming play but it's not appealing as just a random standalone pack That came with Sims 3 Ambitions which would be like if Laundry Day was included with Sims 4 Get to Work basically 1
poki Posted December 21, 2024 Posted December 21, 2024 Wow this is basically my taste to a T. I'd flip Bon Voyage and Seasons tho.
Bloodflowers. Posted December 22, 2024 Posted December 22, 2024 I have decided I will download Sims 3 with all packs next year and then I will download Sims 4 in 2026 or 2027 when expansion packs will cost 10 euros so I can buy Snowy Escape, Growing Together, City Living and Get Famous as one [40 euros]. And then I will snatch Parenthood and that Jungle vacation game pack for good measure. My mastermind plan! 1 1
Bloodflowers. Posted December 22, 2024 Posted December 22, 2024 Although I am unsure if I should snatch Get Famous or Lovestruck? Maybe Seasons or Cats & Dogs but I hate the fact I don't get any world with season and cats & dogs don't have any pet bed and pets are kinda sorta useless lbr if you really think about it. They are cute little add on if your game has other meat aka expansions added to the game

These DLCs are some of the beefiest the game has City Living still feels fresh to me and even though you can't build your own apartments (you need For Rent for that), all the other stuff it adds does add up. My all-time favorite furniture is from City Living. 22 minutes ago, Bloodflowers. said: Although I am unsure if I should snatch Get Famous or Lovestruck? They are cute little add on if your game has other meat aka expansions added to the game Get Famous functions a lot like Vampires. I do have to admit they can make community lots a headache because everyone will go crazy over them but I found out (by my own means) that if you: 1. Delete the pre-made celebrities 2. Avoid Del Sol Valley 3. Avoid the actor career The game will not spawn any celebrities. I tested and proved this with the "must be a celebrity" requirement Get Together clubs can have. I really like the clothes in Lovestruck but if you already get Growing Together, you pretty much already have romantic compatibility via the social compatibility system. Feels redundant much like it did for Sims 2 (I feel this is an unpopular opinion). I absolutely adore the world, CAS and build/Buy of Cats & Dogs and the animations are seriously adorable but God knows the gameplay is nonexistent. On PlayStation you can get a Cats & Dogs + My First Pet bundle for $12 on certain sales so for that price I can't complain. I am not ashamed to say every Seasons / animals related DLC from every Sims game are dead last on my lists when it comes to gameplay. Cute for screenshots tho. 1

I forgot to say High School Years, I might get that over Get Famous because world is better, CAS is better and School system might be a cute gameplay + you can sneakout via window Get Famous I only want it for influencer and YouTuber aspect! Should I download Sims 4 from Origin or? I am new to this so idk which system is the best and who offers chepeast and best deals

Should I download Sims 4 from Origin or? I am new to this so idk which system is the best and who offers chepeast and best deals Last year I made a remake of Pleasantview to try out High School Years and actually had some fun! CAS is a 10/10, especially the masculine hairstyles. This DLC has some clothes that made me go "That's from Sims 2 University!" and they even recreated Jennifer Burb's wavy hair. Build/Buy has a lot of cool stuff. It gives you a more simple variation of the YouTuber career (video games live streamer) and the thrift store clothing items actually work with Get to Work retail stores so you can have both the mannequins and the randomized thrift items. Really cool. The Maxis-made high school is so so bad. Objectively terrible for gameplay. The smaller the high school, the better. The theme park is all rabbit holes which sucks. I wish we could at least see Sims on the Ferris Wheel. World is really gorgeous, it's basically the Outdoor Retreat world but fully livable. Prom is held every weekend which is actually fantastic for rotational gameplay because it means every sim gets to experience it. What really surprised me is you can get invited to all sorts of parties and sneak out opportunities. If you use the social bunny app, you'll max out friendships (and romance / bad relationship bars if you want to) passively which sometimes does make life easier I must admit. You can also run your own boba tea stall which is nice. Sims can also drop out of high school which means they can't go to university and will not be able to join several careers. Really impactful. You can complete high school-equivalent education later on in their life. The bad news is you can't build a high school on any lot, it has to be the one lot that comes with the new world and you can't have a private school. Origin got replaced with "EA App" (such a creative name, good job EA), haven't had experience with Sims purchases through Steam. The way I can talk about Sims 4 all day but can't recall any stuff I learned in college 1
poki Posted December 23, 2024 Posted December 23, 2024 Like, pull up a random hairstyle or chair and I'll be able to tell you which DLC is from. Why is this the information my brain is able to remember 1

Might be there if you click the music section.
Bloodflowers. Posted December 24, 2024 Posted December 24, 2024 Wait, this guy downloaded Sims 4 with all DLC packs for free on qtorrent nnnn; Do they really work without any pop up messages from EA constantly? 1
Bloodflowers. Posted December 25, 2024 Posted December 25, 2024 I got a new computer and I am finally downloading Sims 4 for the first time ever Should I purchase any of the 16 euro expansion packs or should I wait for when they go lower? How often do these go on sale for 60% off? I wanna purchase at least 3 packs when they are this cheap, but first I want to play and see how well I like Sims 4 as just the base game before I decide to just throw my money at EA I wish they would go on sale for 10 euros, but I guess I will have to wait a year or two for that to happen, but until then I might snatch some cute little City Living, Growing Together and Snowy Escape packs
Bloodflowers. Posted December 26, 2024 Posted December 26, 2024 Update: alright I played 1 hour and 40 minutes my first Sims 4 game. The control is weird, I had to Google how to zoom in and out because there were no buttons for that like in previous games I am figuring things out, it's so complicated. Sims 2 and Sims 3 were wayyyy more simple. The amount of things in just Create a Sim alone. Thank god I watched videos of CaseOh and his first ever Sims 4 gameplay so I managed to know where things were beforehand ksksksksk The gameplay I have nothing to say, I was just trying to figure out how things work since it's so complicated and there are billion buttons of things to do and accomplishments to achive, including this holiday thingy. In gameplay, I managed to become WooHoo partners with Don Lothario. I knew he was a romance Sim from Sims 2 so I KNEW i could get some action from him I spent like 20 minutes trying to figure out how to go to the gym. It took me ages to find that world map because no one told me you had to look up at your phone and then find travel option. Whew I briefly went to manage World option, changed household to Landgrab before switching back to my place. I think I wanna create my own story here, but being family oriented gay Sim is gonna be hard we are going to pretend we didn't hookup with Don in that case, such a stereotypical gay hookup culture thing to do nnnnn; Overall I enjoyed my gameplay. But it's still new to me and I am learning how to navigate. It's kinda slow, everything is super fast paced in Sims 2 and Sims 3, while things move slowly in Sims 4 and has a bunch of multitasking as well as wall of texts that I trying to figure out what it all means 1
