She didn't even have to touch much of the pack to have an amazing time with it :hippo:

SO accurate !

There's *some* points to be made but overall Life and Death is an incredible Expansion, one of the best of the franchise.

She had a deal with Life By You and has been resentful towards the Sims ever since it was cancelled and majority of this video is absolutely reaching.

Comparing hyper realistic games needing tons of GB to a cartoon game like the Sims and thinking GB = amount of gameplay is dumb af I'm sorry :ahh:

New event has some cute stuff.

So looks like Vivaland is dead, apparently no one from the team has been active since June.

Flop companies want a piece of EA's pie but can't even make it to the table!

Hold up we got 4 new tops for guys in the recent update :soda:

I would like if they went over some of the older clothes and hairstyles and remade them. The styles are good but some meshes don't impress anymore.

This is sooo cool! Would love a Retro styled Sims like this!

I am thinking of getting Sims 3 next year if I buy a new computer, while Sims 2 cam stay on my old current 2012 laptop

If I get a strong computer, I am thinking of getting all expansion packs but only Maxis made since EA Salt Lake ones suck except for University Life which is basically Sims 2 University copy-paste pack. I have zero interest in Supernatural and Into the Future while Showtime has always looked like a filler ass expansion pack (the preview of what Sims 4 would become :skull:

But maybe I will save for InZoi instead but we'll see if the game will be good and if my computer could even handle it... but then again, if I want to play Sims 3 Island Life, then my computer should handle both regardless

Can't answer that, never played any Sims 4 pack or the free Sims 4 base game past two or three times for a couple of minutes on my nephew's Playstation 4:clack:

I only downloaded Sims 3 and Sims 3 Late Night in 2018 after one ATRL user who is now banned for years here helped me with it. He was an Arab  Evanescance fan who was often posting in Sims ATRL threads but has been permabanned :weeps: I don't know where he is or what he does anymore

There's a specific family in Island Paradise that breaks the world from the get-go. One sim gets stuck somewhere and the whole game goes up in flames. Even worse if you have wild horses around.

Does anyone has his Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat, Discord or something? I know I used to have him on one of them but I forgot/lost him :weeps:

Something about having a family (Gavigan family in particular) living in apartment and adopting pets, inviting principal to get into private school and then sending your kid to university once they are close to growing up >>>>>>

I love Sims 2's coziness. Visually it reminds me a lot of 90s Pixar and GTA San Andreas.

Most striking moments for me are Sedona's preview and the Rolling Hills artwork.

I was watching Sims 4 reviews, thinking I might be too harsh but reading comments under the SECOND EVER Sims 4 expansion pack where Simmers where roasting and saying how bored they were of Sims 4 back in 2015 makes me think I should just skip Sims 4 and wait until Sims 5 comes out so I could snatch Sims 4 with all expansions and stuff packs [for free hopefully hihi] while others start throwing cash at Sims 5 and their new packs

Honestly Sims 4 doesn't look as bad with all those expansions, I understand why after Sims 3 they tried cutting down open world to make game run more smoother but still at least they could've made neighborhood open world with all those 4-5 lots instead of having loading screen for simply visiting a lot next to you

Worst case is with For Rent where even Sims 2 Apartment Life didn't have loading screen when visiting your neighbor, but this one does :deadbanana2: and let's not mention cars!

i am gonna wait until i get new computer so I can run Sims 3 with complete packs, but I am fearing because it's an old game, it might not run on these modern Windows computers?

or I might get InZoi, it looks promising but they need to add so much content still for the base game to be serving cvnt! It's still in development, so hopefully they gameplay doesn't look so... plastic! It needs to feel more alive! They get graphics and everything else great but I can tell it's gonna be a buggy mess without any expansions :toofunny2:

Speaking of buggy mess, I wish Sims 3 would get new expansion packs but seeing how the ones they have now are being held together with thoughts and prayers, adding another expansion might just crash the whole game kskskskksksks :dies:

Sims 4 players already suffer with loading screens, they might as well enjoy Sims 2 loading screens with their cute little boxes that are lighting up

Sims 4 launch was an absolute disaster. LGR however was able to see that Outdoor Retreat, Get to Work and Get Together were very solid DLCs (especially Outdoor Retreat for $20 compared to Sims 2/3's $20 cosmetic DLCs) held back by a rushed base game. LGR actually called Get Together one of the best Sims expansions ever made.

The upside to the load screens was that these said expansions had absolutely zero rabbit holes. Get to Work is beefy but the fact we can't create our own custom worlds really holds it back.

In the last few years Maxis shifted gears and now most DLCs are riddled with rabbit holes, reused code and a focus on cosmetic stuff youtubers can fawn over. If University came out instead of Get Together in 2015, every class would be fully viewable like Sims 3. That's a guarantee based on the 2015 DLCs.

They do sales all the time and I have no doubt sometime in the next 2 years we'll see major DLCs go on sale for 75% off. So I say if you didn't dip in yet, may as well wait for those inevitable sales. Vampires is extremely good tho. Truly a new standard of what a supernatural life state in The Sims can be.

As for InZoi...I'll wait to see what happens come early access.

Sims 3's development was hell for the devs. In Sims 4 live streams from 2015-2018 they would constantly throw jokes on how much crunch and communication issues they had. There's a lot of behind the scenes reasons why Sims 4 from the get-go was envisioned as smaller scope.

the best thing is that the loading screen time isn't even bad. it's like a minute only. i would literally have to wait about 4 minutes in the sims 4 for a loading screen

10 euros for expansions and 2-5 euros for some stuff packs and I am fine with it

I would get City Living, Seasons, Pets, Growing Together, Get Together, Snowy Escape, University and High School.... maaaaaybe Get to Work and Eco Lifestyle

For stuff packs, I would need one of those pets things and family toddler things that should've come with Pets/Growing Together but whatever :khalyan2:

Wait, really?? 4 minutes? How is that possible? I played it briefly and it only took a few seconds, I thought Sims 4 loaded faster than Sims 2. Maybe you've been playing too long and have a lot of data stored or perhaps some of the expansion packs caused a lot of data to process?

absolutely not. the sims 4 has the worst loading time of all the games and it's what drove most of the fans insane all around. although it's true my computer isn't the best anymore, it ran sims 4 base perfectly fine. but then the more expansion packs the worse it got and the thing is you can't play the sims 4 without expansions. the game is already boring with them, without them it's a mess. and since a lot of the expansions needed heavy patches because they were always so buggy, it just constantly made everything worse. i have a friend who has a gaming pc and runs the game fast, but even after a while his game starts to get slower. and you shouldn't always need to constantly clean up caches. that's bad programming
