It's so fun to play as multiple sims in uni because it's very easy to see how much you need to do to get an A+ 

 

A lot folks aren't aware that Lifetime Wants didn't exist in Sims 2 base game. They were introduced with University!

Once I get better at my building skills, I wanna make my own dorms! My dorm will have at least 40 rooms and a huge fancy area space with pool and stuff

 

 

Also the wants + fears system was such a great concept. People started hating on it "because I can do what I want" but they always give me purpose to achive something so my Sims can be in that happy mood and avoid fears so that annoying invisible Doctor doesn't fall from my the sky after a meltdown nnnnn;

 

I love buying the youth drink, love jaccuzi and weather changer once I reach enough want points + money plant tree is also cute

UPDATE: Oh,I didn't know after graduation you have 72 hours to do random stuff before they grow up into an adult and leave for a taxi. Also no cut scenes but my first two students who graduated are those without family tree. Also I didn't throw any party for them, so maybe that was the reason for no cutscenes. (I was busy trying to get the girl leave the lot so my romance Sim could woohoo with her brother during those 4 extra hours he got while on the lot)

I think bucket lists should be a base game update that replaces aspirations. Let us keep the ones we already have but allow us to edit them, make our own from scratch, or let the list build up on its own as Maxis stated is possible.

I remember using Tombstone of L and D to get my student sim pregnant while at uni and then when she moved back to Pleasantville the baby never came and I was so upset.

Bought a house in Twikii Island for my romance Sim who married rich Double Agent and have twins together! Bon Voyage is a super cute pack tbh

 

They live in Mansion apartment with a small puddle dog!

finally managed to get the hang of sims 2 and it ******* eats DOWN. my only complaint is that build mode is hard to get used to & all the interiors are giving mid 00s but it's part of the charm

University is fun because I built my own dorm and frats/sororities for the college kids but when you play multiple households it's such a chore because it takes like 50 years to graduate  I had to cave in and use cheats to speed up the process because one of my college sim's younger siblings (who was a baby when she left) is almost a teen now while she's still a junior in college so we had to wrap it up otherwise they'd end up being roommates by the time she graduates

I don't have that mod because I don't like not being in total control of my households. That mod will make people have babies, get married, etc. and I usually have specific story ideas in my head of what I want for their lives so it would just be too chaotic. I already have the ACR mod and I've had so many accidental pregnancies/cheating already so that's all the chaos I need

I have yet to build dorms. Seeing how I LUV building apartments, I'm gonna have fun building dorms. One question tho, if I add student door, do they only claim that one room or is it like apartment life where they claim everything behind those doors? Because I want to build bathroom WITHIN their student dorm, and not in public bathrooms as other ones. Also I might add balcony only for the student living in that room with a jaccuzi

My dorm building has around 15 rooms and a penthouse type room, but once you add apartment doors they will be claimed by anyone not in the household. So you'll only have control of the rooms your sims are inhabiting, which is super annoying when you have your sims rush frats/sororities because they'll run around the building and run into the rooms of the NPC student dorms which from live mode are greyed out so I'd always have to go into buy/build mode to see which room they ran into. A pain in the ass. This will also happen if you invite someone over, they'll just walk into an NPC dorm room and get lost. FFS Lot Debugger (Batbox) will kick out any stuck sims though if you have that. 

 

 

But my building has a balcony with a hot tub and DJ booth + a separate gym but it's open for anyone otherwise if a NPC snatched a room with a balcony I'd have no access to it unless I force my sim to enter their room which is annoying. I have a girls and boys communal bathrooms with multiple showers/toilets in each but yes you could make rooms with their own bathrooms. You just have to make sure the sims that move into the building claim those rooms before the NPCs do and you'll be fine. Also however many rooms you make, they will be filled by NPCs. So let's say you make a building with 20 rooms, you can only have a household of 8, so 12 of those rooms will one-by-one be filled by an NPC at random. If you have a household of 5, and you wanna add 3 more of your sims, but all the rooms are claimed, 3 NPCs will move out so that your sims can move in. The same applies if a few sims graduate and leave dorms unoccupied, they'll be taken by NPCs within a few days until you add new sims of your control to kick them out. I think there's a mod that stops the NPC dorm spawners though if you want total control.

 

 

I just built fraternity and sorority houses for a few sims because I got tired of the dorm buildings and sims getting stuck in the NPC dorms, and just the NPCs in general. They get on my nerves. They stole the best rooms too, I was fuming.

It's overblown. It will feature images from base game and DLC but they won't be ads.
