creator network youtubers seem to be mostly positive on the gameplay? i’m surprised because their gameplay just isn’t showing an EP’s worth of content

The apartment system slaps I can't wait to get this 

 

The new handyman career is just a part time job...

They should have made that an active career, would have added a little extra depth for this pack. 

 

Overall I want more for the handiness skill. Severely underrated.

This year is the best ever in terms of my personal wishes 

 

- A new desert world with a lot of western items and clothes

- A social system so personalities can clash 

- An official way to have biological families without pregnancy

- Buildable apartments 

- Vans inspired clothes 

- Trashy items for a run down home 

- more swimwear

 

I was really falling off in 2021 but then Werewolves pulled me back and now I think I really am set for life with this game thanks to For Rent.

I love apartment gameplay, so with TS4 building tools I would have a blast but I just hope it doesn't become a dream home decorator kinda mess. Some creators are already reporting glitches and lagging. Sure technically it's "not final software" but I think it's mostly likely that putting the EP with a bunch of more packs simultaneously will cause more bugs than what they fix between the time till it comes out so like if it's already not that good I imagine it may become worse. Hope I'm wrong though.

You can now change windows on San Myshuno's appartments, Evergreen Harbor too.

Some corners of appartments lots are accessible now (like the exterior on the street for some appartments in the Spice neighborhood etc...)

I lowkey wish they would make a Pop Music/Band pack already so that we can have jobs as pop stars/bands and have a Hot 100 equivalent chart in the game.

They also apparently moved trees around in San Sequoia. 

 

A few years ago they said editing the worlds causes saves to break in their test environment but it looks like they finally found a way to make it work.

Maybe now they can update the oceans of older worlds to allow swimming

I have a theory Sims Sessions was a teaser towards this DLC but sales of City Living died out so they chose to focus on For Rent since now they could resell apartments without jeopardizing pack sales, and put the bands DLC on hold because of COVID.

I also think My Wedding Stories turned out a mess because COVID made it difficult to develop 2 GPs at once, and Werewolves obviously requires more work time, so MWS was an intended bomb on Maxis' part to meet EA requirements.

The only thing they did the best with the My Wedding Stories is the world.

 

It is my favorite of all the packs.

I'm kinda biased because of the fact that I'm french and this mediterranean vibe is familiar to me (same with Windenburg who's very medieval and looks like the city I live though !)

I've been doing brainstorm sessions on my idea I mentioned earlier. 

Basically an entire novel at this point. 5 generations of history  

 

Can't think of how to fit For Rent into this.
