RideOrDie Posted January 31 Posted January 31 are they remastered/improved or just dumped to their store so people can buy them
May Posted January 31 Posted January 31 yall i hate to be a downer and so negative but i fear this is very over-hyped and a lot of ppl are going to be severely disappointed when they realise that the nostalgia halo effect they hold over these games doesn't hold up in 2025 if it were a remaster i'd be on-board. ppl will get bored after 2 days, trust. now what we REALLY need is a sims 3 with remastered lighting, remastered textures and bug fixes. now THAT would hold up! 5 4

nathanspears Posted January 31 Posted January 31 (edited) Just played Sims 1 for 30 minutes and it's working great. I do wish the text was sharpened, it started to hurt my eyes. Excited to try Sims 2 later! This is what I wanted. I didn't want a remaster tbh, just a cleaning and fixing to make it compatible with modern PCs. Edited January 31 by nathanspears

Wish my salary was that of Western European, then I wouldn't need to count every cent that goes into purchasing packs

Maybe this EP would be the perfect opportunity to do it? Half the functionality is already there surely with the ability to section off different parts of a lot as different apartments in For Rent, and lots like the auditorium from HSY can literally transform into 4 different builds, it can't be that difficult to do. When Sims 4 Business & Hobbies allows you to open your business in your household lot like in Sims 2 Open for Business, but you have to enter loading screen when opening your store like in For Rent. Sims 2 Apartment Life would never 2
Saint James Posted January 31 Posted January 31 very pleased about the price and availability, but i won't be purchasing until i get that ikea pack by whatever means. that bedroom furniture set is too essential for me.
PMM Posted January 31 Posted January 31 is this bundle time limited? i don't want to buy it today. can i buy it next year? how long will it be available?

When these remakes flop harder than expected and Sims community gets a taste of the FF7R vs FF16 special I feel like the InZoi hype will also die out fast after early access this March. And even if these games do smash, I still win because that means I now have Sims 1 and InZoi to play sometimes too
PokiTails Posted January 31 Posted January 31 1 hour ago, Sailor Moon said: probably licensing issues, it took them a decade to re-release the game, i don't think they want to negotiate anymore Since we have H&M, I assume it's IKEA that said no. But I still see stuff like EKTROP and BILLY in IKEA stores so I'm so confused. The music removal makes sense though. Even GTA games suffer hard from this because the labels demand more money

Rogue_Redux Posted January 31 Posted January 31 Lmfao I knew it would be something. I'll just stick to TS1 for now. Until TS2 can be properly fixed.
