I mean brazilians have always celebrated dancing so this isn't particularly because of that episode

i still remember when North Korea was in the 2010 world cup and their entire side of the stadium was empty, i felt so bad for the players because they were trying their best given the circumstances but they lost 7-0 to portugal i believe

the rest of Asia has gotten a lot better since then so i doubt North Korea will qualify for the World Cup again :rip:

Naur not 7-0:rip:. I need to look it up later for a highlights watch because :rip: Japan and South Korea did great this world cup and have come far so that's good, hopefully more asian countries qualify for 2026 and surprise us:campfire:

Neymar is not even back for 15 minutes and he’s already rolling around on the floor to get as many penalty kicks as possible. I hate this man and wish him the worst :deadbanana2:

That's it for Asia in this world cup.

yeah they are, they're just not allowed to rip off their shirts (that's why the cameroonian player got a red card)

there was a scandal a few months ago where a higher up in the spanish federation was racist to vinicius who scored the goal because vinicius dances when he scores goals, so that's why they danced to celebrate that goal! it's like an f u to the racists

Oh well props to them for that

still dancing on Twice’s Korea’s grave feels disrespectful considering they never stood a chance :deadbanana2:

Today is not the day for Le Sserafim's Korea & Japan

I will never understand how big populous countries such as India and China can't find 26 men that play decent football to even qualify. :deadbanana4:

coming from another big, populous asian country that is crazy about football but is absolutely terrible at it, my theory is that it's a combination of being poor and being short :rip: at least in india's case because i know they LOVE football (after cricket ofc). i believe china likes basketball and table tennis better so football might just not be their priority.

Not Croatia against Brazil confirmed.

I mean knowing how proud China is, I wouldn't be surprised if sistren Xi gets envious and pissed at his country not exceeding at the most global sport in the world and makes chinese little boys train football as if they were training for war

Taynara Conti's Brazil needs to chill down against the country that gave us global cultural reset with Squid Game :biblio:

I know football is very unpredictable but there's no way you guys actually thought Pocket Girls' Korea had any chance against the best team Ludmilla's Brazil had since the 2006 World Cup

Posted

Hopefully Manu Gavassi's Brazil scores even more against Lee Hi's Korea

So far all the countries that have won in the Round of 16 were expected to win.  We are just rooting for the underdogs because it meant having 2 African and 2 Asian countries in the next stage. :gaycat7:

Maybe French Montana's Morrocco will avenge the underdogs tomorrow. Otherwise, it's OUT after OUT.
