Well the general public has spoken, and they don’t care for Kang. And I feel like the Multiverse stuff is gonna peak with Deadpool 3. Most people I know offline are kinda tired of multiverse stuff in media everywhere. Curious on how Marvel is gonna keep people engage on time travel and parallel dimension stuff. Cameos can only last so long. Hopefully Disney & Marvel studios are fixing thier scripts and getting thier budgets under control next year. I dont care if they recast Kang, or veer into Doom. Just need to start making more stories like Wandavision. That instantly made Wanda an as popular and beloved as the OG Avengers. Need more stories like that. Deadpool is obviously gonna be a Smash. And Agath looks like it’s gonna be amazing. I just hope they keep that energy for Captain America & Thunderbolts. Loki had the quality, but a lot of people were bored. If we can have that level of sci-fi, mixed with some better action sequences maybe they can make some type of hype for Kang Dynasty💀😭

I still think it’s crazy that Simu Liu has been left on read for years now — the only post-Endgame introduced new main character to have a successful movie launch and they haven’t found a way to include him in the following nine releases or six Disney+ shows and we are still years away from seeing him again?

 

They really needed to have an Avengers movie by now that cemented a new line up and dynamics for audiences to latch on to instead of retiring their most successful brand until the end of like 3 phases worth of content just to try and recapture that Infinity War / Endgame hype — which has just led to people tuning out instead while younger audiences aren’t jumping in to replace them either outside Spider-Man.
 

I hope Deadpool 3 / Brave New World goes some way towards correcting that imbalance (especially now the latter is going to be reworked) but I don’t think it’s going to be an easy road at all.

It really felt like Shang Chi was supposed to be in Captain Marvel 2 before they pivoted it to be The Marvels. The rings were actually the Kree relic and the Shang Chi post-credit scene about that signal sent into space would have caused the Kree to show up on earth looking for them. Instead, they pivoted to make Kamala's bangle the magic item.

Yeah it is crazy indeed and to me that's an indication of how Kevin and his team have lost of track of making a cohesive universe. From what I recall, unlike Ethernals which could be in a different universe, Shang Chi was clearly established in the main with the cameo of Captain Marvel, no?

And yeah Shang-chi was well received for a new character nobody knew😭 Why it been going on 3 years since we see these characters again. Glad we got Kate Bishop this year. But I hope Deadpool is the juggernaut it’s most likely gonna be. And Marvel gets to the climax of the Multiverse stuff already. Even hardcore fans are ready to move on.

Not me missing the Shang-Chi conversation (clock the avi)  It really does annoy how Marvel hasn’t bothered to include him in more projects. With the exception of Marvel Zombies, which I believe isn’t dropping until 2025, it’ll be five years since his movie came out and not a single cameo appearance.

What’s sad is that Simu very much wants to return to the character but Marvel stated Shang-Chi 2 is suppose to come after Kang Dynasty but with it getting pushed back, and given today’s events who knows if we’ll get it, it’ll be a while before see Shang-Chi on the silver screen again. :(

Also, he recently tore his Achilles’ tendon which I hope doesn’t affect how much martial arts / stunts he can do when it finally comes time to film.

They could’ve easily thrown in a reference to the Ten Rings, with maybe the villain intending to find the rings but realizing they wouldn’t fulfill her goals so she learns of the bangles and go after those instead. Or Carol sees the bangles for the first time and makes a comment about them reminding her of the rings.

anyways onto news about Jonathan Majors officially being fired from his role as Kang Today. It’s for the best. A lot of rumors are already popping up about Avengers 5 having a new lead villain, and Kevin Fiege pivoting into X-Men. Also the best choice since nearly everyone I know is ready for the Multiverse Saga to wrap up. Deadpool is the only surefire Multiverse movie I can see being a pop culture phenomenon before the next Avengers movie. Fiege better be in his office right now approving Stellar scripts and casting choices for upcoming films. 
 

 

 

Echo is in less then a Month and looks Great. Deadpool 3 Trailer dropping February 11th, & Agatha & X-Men 97’ are confirmed to be released in 2024! So still a lot to look foward to. The next major film after Deadpool is Captain America 4. And I really hope they make it an amazing blockbuster. Marvel needs a string of films that aren’t polarizing by critics and audiences. I mean regardless of what people say, Marvel is still fine. But has taken a lot of hits & Misses in the 2020’s. Making Deadpool the only movie next year is a very smart move. Since over saturation is what got them into this mess in the first place. I still think they can make Secret Wars as big as Infinity war & Endgame honestly. But they definitely need the quality and engagement to return. Fantastic Four cast has to be very general public friendly and funny, The time travel stuff and consequences of phase 4 needs to start effecting characters Asap.

Maybe I was the only one that was really looking forward for The Kant Dynasty and Secret Wars? It’s for the best and it’s such a shame Jhonathan ended up like this but oh well, there’s always a consequence to every thing we do, good or bad.

There is a lot of News and rumors popping up following Majors Termination as Kang. All the X-Men news seems to be very true. Marvel studios is hard pivoting into making several X-Men Projects sooner then later. I will try to organize the breaking news but I’m lazy so this is basically what’s going to happen from most likely to just random rumors.

X-Men Solo film is coming before secret wars now. The Villians will be the brotherhood of evil. Sinister & Magneto will be over-arching Villians throughout the next several Mutant related Projects but won’t be the main big bads of the Film. They will probably be saved for sequels or crossover Event movies. Remember all of this is rumors and anything can change. Especially since it’s been only like 3 days since Kang was Offed
 

-Secret wars will now be a 2 part finale of the multiverse saga similar to IW & Endgame. Kang won’t return until the finale film, but will still be a the end goal threat. New Big Bad is being reworked into this current phase. Most likely to appear in Fantastic 4. 
 

-Spider-Man 4 will be a street level Civil war Movie. About gang wars and rampant vigilantes. Kingpin and his hired Supervillains vs. Spidey and street level hero’s. Daredevil will be the face of the streets, Antman will be the leading Avenger rumored. Again things can change but it’s most likely gonna be Scott lang. 

-a Mutant Disney+series focusing on X-Mansion and the mutant civil rights movement is rumored to be in development. This is very likely to happen if Daredevil born again is a hit. 16-22 Ep serialized tv returning after the failures of the 6 episodes format and lack of quality control on Disney+. This was confirmed by Iger months ago, so I believe a change is definitely happening. 
Making a series about the Mutants on a grounded street level like agents of shield may be the formula that can save MCU tv. Also the reports say thier will be a few Mutant tv shows based off of the iconic characters. Storm Series would go so hard. 
 

-Scarlet witch is rumored to be the first mutant film following Deadpool 3. Blade & Wong will be supporting characters (take this rumor with a grain of salt, but it’s says that this will set up Midnight suns. 

-Captain America 4 is being Re-shot next year and script worked. Rumors are saying it will be like Spiderman 4, Civil War 2. But more Avenger level hero’s then street. Rumor is that it will focus more on the Mutant scare, similar to X-Men 2. 
 

-Secret Wars Part 1 is rumor to be nearly 5 hours long💀 and will be Make all Marvel cinematic content under the MCU Umbrella.

 

-Eternals, Black Panther 3, Shang-Chi 2, Blade & Docter Strange 3 are still expected to keep thier released dates. Secret wars most likely will be pushed back to 2031. 

-a Hulk Film is the works but very little is known. Hulk will be tied to Captain America 4 plot, so it will be spinning off from that movie.
 

 

a lot of the rumors sound like what I’ve been wanting. More Street level stories. Hopefully the teamwork is fun like the Marvels. Even tho that flopped, it’s still the most sociable the Avengers have been in years. I really hope they nail the X-Men and make them Young. They don’t have to be teens, but like half the cast should be. Especially if they are going the X/mansion route. It gives us a decade to grow with the Core X/Men team. Only ones that should be older are Storm & Wolverine. Jean, Cyclops, and Rouge should be early to mid 20’s. Anyways, I’m more excited about these rumors than the multiverse cameo fest ones of the past 3 years. Just need to make sure the scripts are actually stellar and the castings are great. 
 

no news about fantastic four other then it films in 2 months and it’s codenamed Bluemoon. Deadpool leaks are all over the internet so I don’t have to talk about it. But it’s gonna be the biggest MCU movie since NWH. Some of the Cameos are mind blowing. And this is what Multiverse of Madness should’ve been.
