Uncatena Posted April 11, 2022 Posted April 11, 2022 Quote Natasha Lyonne teases a 'wild ride' in first look at Russian Doll season 2: 'It is deeply off-the-wall' The Emmy-winning dramedy returns for season 2 with more mind-boggling, time-warping shenanigans and new faces including Schitt’s Creek standout Annie Murphy. Quote What she will reveal is that the new season picks up four years after her character, Nadia, and Alan (Charlie Barnett) escaped a deadly time loop. The plot once again explores existential themes as the duo discover a fate even worse than dying over and over, when they must sift through their pasts via an unexpected time portal located in one of Manhattan's most iconic locales. Quote The rest of the cast is back for all the twisty action, with Schitt's Creek Emmy winner Annie Murphy joining the festivities as an unexpected "ally" to Nadia. Lyonne describes her as a "core component and the heart of the season" who helps Nadia come to terms with "the nature of mortality." Or, put another way, "There's some serious motherf---ers on that Russian Doll show — on a human level — and she's definitely one of the good guys." Quote Russian Doll season 2 hits Netflix this spring. x
SickLove Posted April 20, 2022 Posted April 20, 2022 I completely forgot about season 2 even being made so I'm losing my **** rn over this being out now season 1 had me shaken to my core
Bloodflowers. Posted April 20, 2022 Posted April 20, 2022 Watched first 2 episodes today, will finish the rest over the weekend after my exam on Friday. First two episodes are so good
Hector Posted April 20, 2022 Posted April 20, 2022 This second season was incredible. Natasha's mind is truly on another level The way this season was even more mindbending & metaphysical than season 1 Charlie Barnett looks so good with a mustache
HeavyMetalAura Posted April 21, 2022 Posted April 21, 2022 I’m halfway through episode 3 and not super impressed yet, but I have faith it’ll pick up soon.
POPTART Posted April 21, 2022 Posted April 21, 2022 (edited) Just finished first 3 episodes, it's really good I like how they switched it up and its not just a replica of season 1. Edited April 21, 2022 by POPTART
NavyBlue Posted April 22, 2022 Posted April 22, 2022 I’m watching and enjoying. But I have so many questions??!? I’m just like wtf ok….
HeavyMetalAura Posted April 23, 2022 Posted April 23, 2022 Is it just me or has this made no noise? It never made the Netflix overall top 10 and just barely made the top 10 TV shows - and now it’s not even there. I guess the long wait hurt it. I didn’t like this season and it seems to be getting mixed reviews, but I hope they at least give us one more season. I fear a cancellation is incoming. :(
RockStarShit101 Posted April 23, 2022 Posted April 23, 2022 didn't like this at all. s1>>>> s2 feels like watching a different show.

It does pick up the pace by episode 4 tho and ends strong. Sad because Natasha pitched it as 3 seasons. Amazing because season one has a perfect ending that gave me an existential crisis lol also I need a Maxine spin-off show haha I was hoping for a Maxine centered episode this season Edited April 23, 2022 by DONTYELLATME

POPTART Posted April 24, 2022 Posted April 24, 2022 I agree the ending was very stressful I hope they get that final third season, as I feel like the story is not finished. Im worrying this season is not doing as well as season 1 though
TaylorNation Posted April 28, 2022 Posted April 28, 2022 I really enjoyed the second season but like, what was the point of the story? I feel dumb

TaylorNation Posted April 28, 2022 Posted April 28, 2022 Just now, POPTART said: That you can't change the past no matter what and she should accept the reality I got the gist of that but I thought maybe it was deeper or something. The bit with all the different Ruths (even though I get what it meant) and the final scene confused me
ZeroSuitBritney Posted April 28, 2022 Posted April 28, 2022 On episode two of the second season and I'm so very bored

McNulty Posted June 2, 2022 Posted June 2, 2022 I wasn't impressed at all with this season, but wasn't disappointed because my expectations were low. I hope it gets renewed for a final season tho and to be on pair with season 1
