If you are the usual player who doesn’t like world quests that much Do Fontaine Archon quest. Come back to Sumeru and Fontaine world quests after you finish the main archon quest.

 

personally I love world quests and the only reason I haven’t finished Fontaine’s world quests is because I have less time than a year ago

I think I will indeed go for Raiden, just finished Liyue archon quest and they keep hinting at how badass bad ***** bossgirl Raiden is. 
Also I desperately need to replace Lisa (although she is gorgeous).

Go for Raiden, when I got her and her weapon my account was forever changed for the best until this day and you can use her and Xiangling together with the infamous Raiden National team.

Sumeru has some really good world quests, especially in the desert, but they are often an overwhelming pile of lore through text dialogues. So if you don't care much about stuff like that, then I'd just skip them and continue to Fontaine. But if you plan to explore the land of Sumeru later then definitely do the world quests, cause they unlock many of the world mechanics.

Ayaka is REALLY powerful but her best teams are kinda expensive (Kazuha and Kokomi are her go to supports) so I think you'd be better off with Raiden since she can be a really powerful on field dps with Bennett, Xiangling and Xingqiu or you could always run her in an EM build for hyperbloom.

There's a series of world quests in Sumeru called Khvarena of Good and Evil that has a lot of lore about the late Hydro archon so if you care about that then you should do that one. But the world quests in Sumeru are really enjoyable overall, the Jeht quests are amazing too, but they're really long so keep that in ind.

She’s really good at freeze or with three 5 star supports that cover the weakness of being a burst reliant freeze carry. The level of investment needed to be good in all situations dwarfs other comps tbh.

I will try to keep my primos for Raiden next month. I love Freminet but my team overall is starting to fall behind after AR30.

yeah raiden is one of the strongest units in the game but pull for whoever you like the most cuz the game's ez af. Raiden can be use as a burst support to deal big amounts of dmg while recovering a nice amount of energy for the entire team or you can just use her for hyperbloom. Ayaka is a cryo dps but is locked to freeze comps. You can play her with 4* characters but her optimal teams require 5*s

Don't worry, this is totally normal. I started playing this summer and around AR30 the game got a bit tough even though I read online that I have good units. You just need a bit more time with the game to naturally grasp the mechanics and it will all feel smoother over time. Remember that even though you get suggested to do ascension quests, you don't have to do them right away. You can stay at your current world level till you feel comfortable enough with the enemies and upgrade your characters/weapons till their next locked threshold before ascending. AR45 was a good stopping point till late game for me, cause at that point you have unlocked everything you really need (most notably 5* artifact farming). 

 

Now I'm at max world level and I wish there was more, cause even with the most random teams the overworld feels too easy  That's why you should always prioritize pulling the characters you like the most, cause in the long run you will be able to clear anything you want with whoever you want.

Thank you for the advice!  Slay at the daddyNeuvillette avi, I would have pulled for him 10000% if I started playing earlier.
I tried Nahida in the Freminet event and I was slayed from her playstyle, would love to save up for her in the future.

Likeeee, the worst part of starting so late is waiting for characters reruns, I'm also counting the days for potential reruns of Nahida, Kazuha and Alhaitham  With Neuvillette it's not that bad since he is a newly debuted character his rerun should be in few patches max
