Cut him some slack, it took almost one year between his first and second banners 

 

Yelan's test was fun but I'm not pulling for her. Saving all my primos for Kazuha and maybe I'll give Itto a couple pulls

there is no reason sucrose should be able to be a main DPS with barely even talents leveled and good artifacts  

Tbf EM is anemo's gimmick and without VV they lose most of their value

There are no "needed" characters. He's an insane support if you care about meta but if you don't you can just stay with sucrose she's still very good. Yelan is a support and basically does the same as xingqiu without the healing

I really trust zy0x and he usually uploads his videos for new characters really fast, you should check him out. He also has really nice guides that have helped me a lot ever since I started playing again
