This should've won the jury last week.

Jared should've sent a shorter version of Afterglow.

New Boot Goofing is expectedly the first entry to be redeemed and will perform in the Semifinals. It's already a cult classic!

Las Marias were done so dirty last week. This jury is a raggedy old white iHeart Radio mess. Every week I think they can't possibly elevate yet another white man's ballad, but then they do just that.

I'm ready for the Semi-Finals already.

How are they awarding this before the final songs have even premiered…..? Also, if this is based on streams aren’t the songs from the first week at an extreme advantage?

This is kinda….. :coffee:

Since half of the jury are iHeartRadio people - the winner's prize being radio payola makes sense.

Also, it sounds like the production designers will be changing up the stages for the semis? Interesting.

I get why Michigan won lost night but California easily had the best song. Hope they make it in next week :clap3:  Along with Illinois and Missouri.

The whitebread iHeart Radio jury payolaing bland songs into the semi-finals. It all makes sense now. Truly the last people I would ask for an opinion on a song's quality :deadbanana4:

American Samoa had better qualify or we riot!

So they mentioned 3 weeks from the finale. So I guess the Final 22 that made it into the Semifinals,   Do we know how many make the finals? If they do 4 by Jury and America, and then 2 redemption, that would be 10 for the Finals.

1st Semi Final (11 each)

2nd Semi Final  (11 each)

My Top 3 from last weeks were MA, GA, and NH. The song is like Greatest showman vibe. Very empowering song!! Glad it made it.

Puerto Rico is in a good SF to make the grand finale. Fingers crossed he goes through.

I’m not loving the structure of this show. Anyone else feel like more contestants should have qualified or there should have been another round of some sort? it just feels like we’ve lost a lot of interesting acts already and the jury picks have been a CHOICE.

They didn’t even do the show over a short period of time and make it an event like Eurovision so why couldn’t they go full American game show and give us multiple episodes in a week and a battle round for the wild card spots or something? Not to mention this had SUMMER programming written all over it. The GP is more patriotic around that time anyway.

That first semifinal lineup is terrifying.

Hopefully, it's because producers are trying to knock some acts out.

Due to the voting system, vote-splitting isn't as potent. But I think it might happen anyway.

Also, due to the low ratings, fanbases become more powerful. MARionettes and K-Pop VPNs, do your worst!
