Hector Posted May 10, 2022 Posted May 10, 2022 Excellent winner and she'll be at the Billboard Awards It would be fitting if she performed at the Eurovision finale on Saturday. Thank goodness the public showed taste for once!
Shawn Posted May 10, 2022 Posted May 10, 2022 Iconic winner. Now I see why Christer was BEAMING during his segment.
Shy Boy Posted May 10, 2022 Posted May 10, 2022 OK is a cute winner. I'm just glad it wasn't Colorado. I was rooting for Washington, American Samoa & Alabama.
tiejc Posted May 10, 2022 Author Posted May 10, 2022 I had a lot of fun with this as a stateside Eurovision fan. I really hope it gets renewed
Michaelnsync Posted May 10, 2022 Posted May 10, 2022 (edited) My top 2 was Colorado and OK from this bunch. OK by far!!!! as a reference as to how much OK dominated the most points you could of got from America was 672 points (56 states x 12 for the top spot). OK’s Alexa got 654 points from America. Which means she topped almost every state. OK most likely got either 1st or 2nd in every state. Calculation works for 49 states at #1, and the other 7 at #2 CO the same a strong showing on points, they got 478, if you got 2nd from all the states at 10 points that would be 560. Colorado looked like they got either 1st-3rd in all states. Edited May 10, 2022 by Michaelnsync
Shawn Posted May 10, 2022 Posted May 10, 2022 Yeah, I think she would have won even if they did the original 50-50 split. Washington 2nd (poor guy) and Kentucky 3rd. But thankfully the producers took no chances.
Scandalous Posted May 10, 2022 Posted May 10, 2022 thank GOD WA & TN being 2 of the lowest point getters from public vote jury so out of touch
